RHEMA 3/21/08 LEARNING FROM MISTAKES
PIX: I saw a toddler who had fallen on the ground
and I watched him stand up.
HEARD: That’s good. The precious kingdom.
Humility.
Learning from
the mistakes of leaders
Paul Keith Davis website:
www.whitedoveministries.org
Paul Keith was saying that we need to dissect those with
the anointing in the past and analyze them with honesty
and balance. He said, “We need to say they did this
right and this right, and they messed up there... So I
am going to do this, but not do that.”
Paul Keith mentioned that when Jotham was king, he had
learned from his father’s mistake and did not enter into
the temple of the Lord.
2 Chron 27:1-2 NKJV
Jotham was twenty-five years old when he became king,
and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. His mother's
name was Jerushah the daughter of Zadok. 2 And he did
what was right in the sight of the LORD, according to
all that his father Uzziah had done (although he did
not enter the temple of the LORD)...
2 Chron 26:18-21 NKJV
And they withstood King Uzziah, and said to him, "It
is not for you, Uzziah, to burn incense to the LORD, but
for the priests, the sons of Aaron, who are consecrated
to burn incense. Get out of the sanctuary, for you have
trespassed! You shall have no honor from the LORD God."
19 Then Uzziah became furious; and he had a censer in
his hand to burn incense. And while he was angry with
the priests, leprosy broke out on his forehead, before
the priests in the house of the LORD, beside the incense
altar. 20 And Azariah the chief priest and all the
priests looked at him, and there, on his forehead, he
was leprous; so they thrust him out of that place.
Indeed he also hurried to get out, because the LORD had
struck him. 21 King Uzziah was a leper until the day
of his death. He dwelt in an isolated house, because he
was a leper ; for he was cut off from the house of the
LORD. Then Jotham his son was over the king's house,
judging the people of the land.
CONFIRMATION: I was debating on whether to take
the time to type in the above from Paul Keith about
dissecting anointed leaders of the past. I was looking
up a clock time and said OK Lord!

IMITATING LEADERS
The apostle Paul
told his children to imitate him. The key is to imitate
a leader only in the areas where they imitate Christ.
Jesus is our 100% perfect role model.
1 Cor 11:1 NKJV
Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.
1 Cor 4:15-17 NKJV
For though you might have ten thousand instructors in
Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for in Christ
Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. 16
Therefore I urge you, imitate me.
INSERT SECOND
HAND TRAINING FROM OTHER’S MISTAKES
training
behind the scenes 1/1/05
Behind the scenes, in secret training places, I have
been raising many for leadership. I grant them wisdom
and understanding to discern the scenes of humanity from
the side lines, regarding control, religion and
agendas. I give this wisdom to clearly candle hearts so
My trainees might pray according to My will. As they
offer the things they see in loving prayer, with fearful
hearts lest they too fall into the same plight, they
embrace this training to apply to their own lives. This
is My preparation for their own futures, for I weave
every circumstance of their lives into preparatory Words
for another day.
By witnessing humanity without judging them, they are
given eyes, ears and hearts to accurately discern issues
which do not line up with My desires. I reveal these
things so they will learn by observing the successes as
well as the failings of
those who walk before them. I give the
failings they witness as loud signs for their own
preparation. In My mercy, I train them second hand so
they need not learn the same lessons through the school
of hard knocks. Instead, I give them these silent
lessons to listen, learn and grow, lest they fall into
the same mistakes. In the same manner, the successes
they witness will foster the hope and courage that will
bring them along into their own future calling. Loved
ones, listen to wisdom that is planted in your heart as
you see behind the scenes.
Prov 4:11-12 NLT
I will teach you wisdom's ways and lead you in
straight paths. If you live a life guided by wisdom ,
you won't limp or stumble as you run.
BITTER WORDS 1/01/05
Many who were trained behind the scenes to witness the
humanity of failing leaders, were sent as intercessors
to keep watch. Some were sent to share the Words of
wisdom so that the failure to measure up would become
openly manifested and change would thus occur. This
brought some degree of repentance and change. Other
messengers faced the fortified walls of stubborn wills,
mind-sets and foreheads set like flint. Thus, I sent
them to speak My Word in prayer that the strongholds
would fall.
Of those intercessors who received My wisdom to
accurately discern My Word, some failed to understand
that this truth would not be received, if they shared it
with those who lack a humble and teachable spirit. Thus,
in sharing, they became bitter victims of the Word of
truth they gave. They were left with frustration, anger
and bitterness over the truths they saw in misaligned
leadership.
Dear ones, it is time to allow Me to uproot the buried
anger and bitterness of what you have accurately
discerned. I long to confirm that you indeed have heard
My voice and have been honed to know My truth. However,
I am not able to send you again until you get the wounds
healed from the bitter taste of your past. If I send
you now, others will hear only your anger and not My
truth. Release to Me the frustration you feel over what
you see going on within the walls of the church, and
release to Me your pain over facing the stubbornness of
mankind. Once you are set free, I will again send you,
but this time as a vessel of honor with My favor of open
doors. You shall release My truth in love.
1 Peter 1:22-23 NKJV
Since you have purified your souls in obeying the
truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the
brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,
having been born again, not of corruptible seed but
incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and
abides forever.
Eph 4:15 NKJV
But, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all
things into Him who is the head — Christ —from whom the
whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint
supplies, according to the effective working by which
every part does its share, causes growth of the body for
the edifying of itself in love.
QUICKENED: One of the scriptures Paul Keith
mentioned was the following. As I pondered the
scripture, I realized there are many spiritual generals
and parents who have forged the way and suffered
rejection due to their weakness and human mistakes.
1 Peter 2:20-23 NKJV
But when you do good and suffer, if you take it
patiently, this is commendable before God. 21 For to
this you were called, because Christ also suffered for
us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His
steps: 22 "Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in
His mouth"; 23 who, when He was reviled, did not revile
in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but
committed Himself to Him who judges righteously;
1 Peter 2:23 AMP
When He was reviled and insulted, He did not revile or
offer insult in return; {when} He was abused and
suffered, He made no threats {of vengeance}; but he
trusted {Himself and everything} to Him Who judges
fairly.
1 Peter 2:21-24 NLT
Follow in his steps. 22 He never sinned, and he never
deceived anyone. 23 He did not retaliate when he was
insulted. When he suffered, he did not threaten to get
even. He left his case in the hands of God, who always
judges fairly.
WORD TO PONDER: REJECTED PARENTS 3/21/08
Beloved leaders, I see the pain and shame of your bitter
woundings from having been rejected by your children for
your failures and mistakes. I know this has grieved you
deeply. Beloved ones, it has grieved Me too.
Yes you have learned difficult lessons and changed your
ways as you have submitted to Me in this process. Your
humble hearts to ask forgiveness, be transparent and
change before your children is a memorial stone not
forgotten. I promise you that I will restore your honor
due. For I have heard your prayers, your longsuffering
and deep love for your children, and I will answer your
tearful prayers and restore you into healthy fellowship.
Prov 15:33 AMP
The reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord brings
instruction in Wisdom, and humility comes before honor.
Prov 18:12 NKJV
Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty, and
before honor is humility.
Eph 6:1-4 NKJV
"Honor your father and mother," which is the first
commandment with promise: "that it may be well with you
and you may live long on the earth." And you, fathers,
do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up
in the training and admonition of the Lord. |
