LEARNING TO BE STILL  2/17/09

QUICKENED EYE GLANCE:  My eye glanced at the following scripture and it was quickened to me that when our flesh is still and we quiet ourselves, we are able to hear and receive from the Lord more often.  When sheep are disturbed, they will not lie down.  The is taking us to a new place of faith where we will be required to climb higher in Him to find our peace, our resting place in trusting Him to keep us.

Ps 23:2
He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.

 

Isa 30:15

"In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength."
