6/01/13 LEARNING TO BE GRACIOUS
Today I was speaking in tongues in the kitchen and the
very, very clear word GRACIOUS came through amongst the
tongues. It reminded me of the following scripture that
reflected the character of Jesus. It is interesting
that this scripture took place immediately after Jesus
had been tested and tried by the devil in the
wilderness.
Luke 4:22 And all bore him witness, and wondered at
the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And
they said, Is not this Joseph's son?
I had just walked through a test where I was being
treated with disrespect. I felt the Lord was telling me
through my tongues that the way to resolve this
situation was to be gracious. And so I wrote a brief
and gracious reply and the person wrote back saying,
“Thank you for being so gracious.” This really healed
my heart and it was not because the situation was
resolved. It was because the Lord rewarded me with the
honor of letting me know ahead of time He was helping me
to be gracious, it had given Him pleasure to be gracious
through me and I had passed the test!
We need to remember that if we are gracious to others,
the Lord will be gracious to us.
WORD TO PONDER: I AM GRACIOUS AND BENDING LOW IN
KINDNESS 12/25/12
My beloved child, how I LONG to bless you! How I LONG
to pick you up and embrace you and comfort you! I hear
your wavering thoughts and worry over past mistakes. I
know that during your time of discipline, you felt
abandoned, yet you know I said I will never, ever
abandon you. Yes there are times of silence, so that
you may have time to reflect, repent and return to Me.
I never forgot you for a moment, you are always in My
thoughts and prayers. You know I AM the God of another
chance! I have totally forgiven you and those places
are washed clean in the book about your life. I AM
extending My love and graciousness into your life and
you shall once again know how favored and accepted you
are. Be at peace dear one, come to Papa and let Me
comfort you.
Num 6:20
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 23 " Speak to
Aaron and his sons, saying, 'This is the way you shall
bless the children of Israel. Say to them: 24 "The Lord
bless you and keep you; 25 The Lord make His face shine
upon you, And be gracious to you; 26 The Lord lift up
His countenance upon you, And give you peace." ' 27 "So
they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I
will bless them."
