RHEMA 1/13/99: Literally Holding Him Up

HEARD: Grace at the ruined foundations. Spiritually delivered. Transformed by the power of God. It's a new beginning. More power. Incredible. I don't think I can stand.

FUNNY EXPERIENCE: Anna & I were teamed up on the ministry team together. We ministered to a red-haired man whom the Lord revealed through my prayer that he was a special chosen one. The more we prayed, the more the Lord revealed and we ended up pretty much praying everything we knew over him. We were taking turns back and forth, praying over him.

He was over 6 feet tall and kept trying to pass out under the weight of the Spirit, but kept fighting it. We were holding onto him so he would not fall. Finally as we had prayed everything we could, and someone came behind him to help catch, we stopped holding him up and I put his arms up in the air to receive. He went down stretched out across the chairs against the wall. When he went down, he was totally unconscious as his head, arms, etc were lopped over.

The next meeting I went over to him to check on him and he said that he had wanted to stay alert as long as he could because we were confirming years and years of things the Lord had privately told him. He was absolutely thrilled. It really was precious to me that he was "enduring" the ministry time, trying to stay standing and receive the whole download.

It reminded me of something Bob Jones says. He says that if you are going to be a minister of His anointing, you have got to learn how to hold your wine! He said in the Old Testament, the priests had to learn how to stand and function in the Presence of the Lord.

2 Chron 5:13-14 KJV

For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD; So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud : for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God.
