RHEMA 7/22/08 THE LONGEVITY OF OUR TESTIMONY
HEARD: My purpose for you is unique. It is
for the long haul.
[Lord You came to me really old last night. What was
Your purpose? What is Your unique purpose that You have
for me?}
HEARD: To build a bridge. Family heirloom.
Godly heritage. To be the one who turns the tide. My
desire is to be with you from the beginning to the end.
VISION: I was laying on my back about 10 feet
underneath the ground, as though planted in the earth.
There was glass over the top instead of dirt and I saw
many feet walking over me.
HEARD: Footsteps. Walked all over. Where
are you going? There is only one way.
Please don’t pressure Sandy. A sacrifice of lips.
PIX: I saw a touch of W on the lips. It is
the sign language that my grandson says for water.
HEARD: Your experiences and visions. They are
a sacrifice.
INTERP: The Lord has always emphasized that my
testimony and the transparent manner in which I share it
(glass lid) is planted as seeds in the earth as a living
sacrifice. But it can only come through my willing,
volunteer, totally abandoned gift of free will and
joyful giving. He does not coerce us in giving our
testimony, because our testimony is our declaration of
our love for Him, it is our gift of love. To share our
testimony is a great cost and He knows this.
Ps 50:4-6 NKJV
He shall call to the heavens from above, And to the
earth, that He may judge His people: 5 "Gather My
saints together to Me, Those who have made a covenant
with Me by sacrifice ." 6 Let the heavens declare His
righteousness, For God Himself is Judge.
2 Cor 9:6-11
[Remember] this: he who sows sparingly and grudgingly
will also reap sparingly and grudgingly, and he who sows
generously [that blessings may come to someone] will
also reap generously and with blessings.
Let each one [give] as he has made up his own mind
and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or
sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves (He takes
pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling
to abandon or to do without) a cheerful (joyous, "prompt
to do it") giver [whose heart is in his giving]. [Prov
22:9.]
And God is able to make all grace (every favor and
earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you
may always and under all circumstances and whatever the
need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no
aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good
work and charitable donation]. 9 As it is written, He
[the benevolent person] scatters abroad; He gives to the
poor; His deeds of justice and goodness and kindness and
benevolence will go on and endure forever! [Ps 112:9.]
10 And [God] Who provides seed for the sower and bread
for eating will also provide and multiply your
[resources for] sowing and increase the fruits of your
righteousness [which manifests itself in active
goodness, kindness, and charity]. [Isa 55:10; Hos
10:12.] 11 Thus you will be enriched in all things and
in every way, so that you can be generous, and [your
generosity as it is] administered by us will bring forth
thanksgiving to God.

INSERT JOYCE MEYERS QUOTE 7/21/08:
http://www.joycemeyer.org/
Joyce was saying that you may be the first Christian in
your family line and been fighting terrible demons and
ungodly family traits but you have a promise that what
you do will be seeds for a 1,000 generations.
“There was a study from the state of New York which they
studied very carefully. One was the Max Jukes family
and the other was the Jonathan Edwards family. The
thing that they discovered in this study is absolutely
remarkable which is like begats like. Max Jukes was an
unbelieving man and he married a woman of like character
who lacked principal. . And among their known
descendants, over 12 hundred were studied. 310 of their
descendants became professional vagrants. 440
physically wrecked their lives by debauched lifestyle.
130 were sent to prison for an average of 13 years each,
7 of them for murder. Over 100 of them became
alcoholics. 60 became habitual thieves. 190 public
prostitutes. Of the 20 that learned a trade, 10 of them
learned their trade in a state prison and it caused the
state 1 hundred million 500 thousand dollars and they
made no contribution whatsoever to society.
In the same era there was a man named Jonathan Edwards
who came on the scene. You may or may not know he was a
great preacher. Jonathan Edwards was a man of God and
he married a woman of like character. And their family
began and they became a part of this study that was
made. In their bloodline 300 of them became clergymen,
missionaries and theological professors. One hundred
became college professors, 100 became attorneys, 30
judges, 60 physicians, 60 authors of good classic books,
14 presidents of universities, numerous giants of
American industry that emerged from this family, 30
united states congressmen, and one Vice President of the
United States.
Dont tell me that those you hang around dont affect you.
And dont tell me that what we do in the decisions that
we make won’t affect our bloodline. Because you have
made the right decisions, there is a promise in the Word
of God that He will give mercy for 1,000 of your
descendants.”
{End Joyce Meyers quote}
Ex 34:6-7 NKJV
And the LORD passed before him and proclaimed, "The
LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious,
longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, 7
keeping mercy for thousands , forgiving iniquity and
transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty,
visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children
and the children's children to the third and the fourth
generation."
CONFIRMATION: Tonight I was listening to Bobby
Conner on God TV and he said the following:
BOBBY CONNER QUOTE:
www.bobbyconner.org
“How old are you David? [Twenty three.] Twenty three,
that’s wonderful, I am 64. I am going to be preaching
when I am 120. It’s true. You don’t believe me but I
tell you that’s the truth.”
When I heard him say this I broke down sobbing. It was
so deeply comforting to hear that the Lord is going to
give us our spiritual fathers to stay with us through
tough times. |
