RHEMA 2/17/09 LOVE OVERCOMES
PERSONALITY OFFENSES
HEARD: Like a child.
Shall we begin? Let’s play. Where? Wherever you
want.
HEARD: New assignment.
IMPRESSION: I had the
impression of a person who was child like and hungry for
the Lord, strong in carnality and very weak in faith.
PIX: I saw the action of
someone lifting their legs up and stepping really high
in order to step over all the stumbling rocks in their
road.

RHEMA
2/23/09 INCOMPATIBLE TEAMS
HEARD:
Let’s see your hands.
HEARD:
Reworking us. That’s a possibility, if we can see that
nobody is completely compatible.
PIX:
I saw the word, two.

TIPS ON HOW TO COMMUNICATE WITH
AN INCOMPATIBLE PERSON
LEARNING TO LOVE AS JESUS LOVED
Basically when dealing with a
difficult person, God's way is to be a peacemaker by
being humble, forgiving and loving through staying
consistent in character, behavior responses in servant
hood.
That may sound like a being
doormat, but the key is to find the true grit of self
discipline in God to be:
1) humble by not giving into self
defense, retaliation, control, anger and pointing
fingers.
2) forgiving by refusing to recall
the offenses and asking God that the person not be
judged for them.
3) loving by I Cor 13 choices.
- It takes more character to ask
God to be your defense than to fight back.
- It takes more character to
humbly point out sin and then let it go and not feel
responsible for changing another person.
- It takes more character to
trust God to meet your needs than to expect a
specific person to do so.
- This road is death to self,
and that road is in Jesus' footsteps and God's path
of righteousness.
1 Cor 13:4-13 NLT
Love is patient and kind. Love
is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. Love does
not demand its own way. Love is not irritable, and it
keeps no record of when it has been wronged. 6 It is
never glad about injustice but rejoices whenever the
truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses
faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every
circumstance. 8 Love will last forever, but prophecy and
speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will
all disappear. 9 Now we know only a little, and even the
gift of prophecy reveals little! 10 But when the end
comes, these special gifts will all disappear. 11 It's
like this: When I was a child, I spoke and thought and
reasoned as a child does. But when I grew up, I put away
childish things. 12 Now we see things imperfectly as in
a poor mirror, but then we will see everything with
perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and
incomplete, but then I will know everything completely,
just as God knows me now. 13 There are three things
that will endure — faith, hope, and love — and the
greatest of these is love. |
