9/05/17 MAINTAIN WHAT YOU HAVE OBTAINED

HEARD:  To maintain what you have obtained.  That is the strategy.    Don’t let go.  Be refreshed in the midst of your stress. 

MAINTAIN YOUR HOME GROUND  4/21/05

When I send you forth to move out and occupy increased boundaries of influence, authority, and responsibility, it is important that you take assessment of the boundaries I have thoroughly marked in your life.  Know their importance and prioritize them.

If you put all your energy into occupying and don’t cover your home territory, it leaves you vulnerable to losing what you have obtained.  Maintain what you have obtained.  Fight to keep the foundations I have engraved in your life.  Do not lose an inch of them while you are stretching forth and taking new places. Stay disciplined and a watchful eye on your home ground so that nothing is allowed to be plundered.

NKJ 1Sa 30:1-3

Now it happened, when David and his men came to Ziklag, on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the South and Ziklag, attacked Ziklag and burned it with fire, and had taken captive the women and those who were there, from small to great; they did not kill anyone, but carried them away and went their way. So David and his men came to the city, and there it was, burned with fire; and their wives, their sons, and their daughters had been taken captive.

Set your house in order  4/21/05

I have placed a need inside of you to set your environment in order.  And when you allow disorder, it builds up in your subconscious and eventually affects your self esteem. Why do you think it  makes you feel so satisfied after you clean up a room and then sit down to appreciate it? It is a part of My nature to bring order out of chaos.  I have set the universe in order and everything hangs in the balance with symmetry.  You have this same nature within you.  There are certain things in your life which are not under your control.  But if there is nothing actually impeding you, you can apply this spiritual exercise to put your house in order. It will encourage you to get back on the right road and stay there.

1Ti 4:8-10 NLT

Physical exercise has some value, but spiritual exercise is much more important, for it promises a reward in both this life and the next. This is true, and everyone should accept it.

10/13/06 THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STRETCHING AND ENLARGING 

I heard the name Jabez and saw a rubberband. I had the impression of a rubber band being stretched out, then when let go, it bounces right back into place. I heard, Maintain what you have obtained and the Lord brought back the memory of the scripture:

Isa 54:2-3 NKJV

"Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes.  For you shall expand to the right and to the left, and your descendants will inherit the nations, and make the desolate cities inhabited.

I realized that stretching has a tension and a pressure added, and it can reach out, and then come back in.  It is just like the skirts of a tent.  The tent has a certain boundary, which has a limit to which it can stretch its skirts.

Immediately I realized that just like driving demons out of a person, you must fill the hole, otherwise 7 more come back.  I suddenly understood that we must “occupy and grow into” the territory and maintain it, not just reach out and stretch into it. 

Jos 1:3-7  NKJV

Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses. 4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great river, the River Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and to the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your territory. 5 No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. 6 Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.

Revelation:  I understood that the way we occupy this new territory that is swept from the demonic is literally to walk into it.  The authority to MAINTAIN what we have OBTAINED by faith, is to walk in that authority and that comes through obedience to what we know is the Lord.  If we do not walk in it, then we cannot keep that ground. To the same level of integrity that we walk in our life, is the same level of integrity we maintain.

'And if by these things you are not reformed by Me, but walk contrary to Me,  then I also will walk contrary to you, and I will punish you yet seven times for your sins.
