RHEMA 4/04/12  a new mantle and authority of rest

IMPRESSION:  I had the impression of Paul Keith Davis, when he wakes up he lays his head against the backboard of his bed and spends Bride time, intimacy with the Lord.

RHEMA  11/19/04  CRUSHED VELVET

HEARD: Roll over.

PIX:  I saw an airplane in the sky.

HEARD:  Alexandra character witness. We need a real witness. 

DREAM:  I was picking out a long formal dress to attend a ball.  It was crushed velvet.  The top was midnight blue for deep revelation and the bottom was brown, representing servant hood and humility.  It had an umpire princess waistline.  The skirt was an A line.

HEARD:  Up or down, in or out.  I am tired, that’s all. 

CONFIRMATION:  I read an email about the children’s story, the Velveteen Rabbit.  In that story the rabbit wants to become real.  In the story the Velveteen Rabbit was so loved by the boy that he lost his hair.  Then the boy got sick and all his toys had to be burned by fire in the forest.  It was at that time the Velveteen Rabbit cried a real tear and he became a real rabbit and played in the forest.

"What is REAL?" asked the Rabbit one day, when they were lying side by side near the nursery fender, before Nana came to tidy the room.  "Does it mean having things that buzz inside you and a stick-out handle?" "Real isn't how you are made," said the Skin Horse.  "It's a thing that happens to you.  When a child loves you for a long, long time, not just to play with, but REALLY loves you, then you become Real." "Does it hurt?" asked the Rabbit.  "Sometimes," said the Skin Horse, for he was always truthful.  "When you are Real you don't mind being hurt." "Does it happen all at once, like being wound up," he asked, "or bit by bit?" "It doesn't happen all at once," said the Skin Horse.  "You become.  It takes a long time.  That's why it doesn't happen often to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or who have to be carefully kept.  Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby.  But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand."

I feel this is parable about the counterfeit and the real.  Those who are fake will burn in God’s jealous fires and their “anointings” will not stand.  Those who have His real anointing will be transformed in the fires and come out transparently real and very much alive.  They will walk as humble servants.

2 Cor 4:7-12 NKJV

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. 8 We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed —  10 always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. 11 For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus' sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. 12 So then death is working in us, but life in you.

Heb 12:28-29 NKJV

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. 29 For our God is a consuming fire.

WORD TO PONDER:  MANTLES FOR MY SERVANTS 4/04/12 

Through seemingly crushing circumstances, My servants have gone through hard pressed experiences and are coming through the other side, triumphant and prepared for My glory.  These are My beloved ones who have bowed low to what was dealt, humbly allowing Me to be their Defense.  Allowing the fires that have touched their lives to transform them into My image, they have yielded themselves to My will, and embraced their cross. 

Having set aside their strivings and learned to rest in Me, I have transformed them through the fire so the reality of My anointing will be revealed.  I will make a clear distinction between the counterfeit and the real.  This will not only be about the difference between the profane and holy but also about My genuine love, humility and compassion. 

I AM laying My head upon their resting places and will release My authority into their lives.  I AM giving My beloved ones mantles of authority for the purposes I have prepared for them.  They shall go forth in My rest where they hear My Word and they believe it.  As they believe, they will receive. 

Heb 4:9-12 NKJV

There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. 10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.  11 Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. 12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
