RHEMA 10/05/09 MARKET
PLACE PROPHETS
A member of our class said
the following today:
“Someone once prophesied over
my husband that he is a marketplace prophet. A
marketplace prophet is the last thing he would like to
be, but the Lord has given him very helpful dreams in
line of his work and strategy of how to pray for his
company. So he is operating in that function, whether he
likes the term prophet or not. “
RESPONSE FROM SANDY:
I found it interesting that the Lord called your husband
a market place prophet. I have a strange heritage
where my family (great grand parents and parents)
purchased things that were the first in their county.
They were forerunners and this strange anointing
followed in things like choosing colors to decorate the
house, or wear in clothes.... and suddenly they were
trends. My ancestors helped build their town. I think
that marketplace prophets have the anointing to set
trends.
For 33 years my husband is always looking for things to
purchase that are not yet available. He describes them
to me, and finally will find them invented years later.
Then suddenly that product is a trend and widely known
and everyone has it.
My husband often prays that
certain specific inventions will be developed for the
military, in order to save lives, etc. He has seen many
of these prayers come to pass. He actually describes
them in his prayers, etc. He receives such joy and
faith when he finds out they are now being marketed.
This is a true inspiration from the Lord.
I think that there are many
wonderful inventions and gifts from the Lord that have
been planted in the earth and we do not recognize they
are coming from His loving and generous hand. The
scripture says that the Lord gives us the POWER to get
wealth. That to me means, He gives us the abilities
behind the final product.
Deut 8:16-18 NLT
He fed you with manna in the wilderness, a food unknown
to your ancestors. He did this to humble you and test
you for your own good. 17 He did it so you would never
think that it was your own strength and energy that made
you wealthy. 18 Always remember that it is the LORD your
God who gives you power to become rich, and he does it
to fulfill the covenant he made with your ancestors.
Deut 8:18 AMP
But you shall {earnestly} remember the Lord your God,
for it is He Who gives you power to get wealth, that He
may establish His covenant which He swore to your
fathers, as it is this day.
Deut 8:18-19 NKJV
"And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He
who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish
His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is
this day.
