8/04/19 NOT FORSAKEN IN OLD AGE
I have been increasingly aware of growing older. As a
youth, you think about what you want to accomplish and don’t
think about what life will be like in an older body. This
is inspiring me to try harder to make better decisions about
my health.
Psalm 92:14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old
age; they shall be healthy and flourishing;
Isaiah 46:4 And even to your old age I am he; and even
to gray hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will
bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.
HEARD:
Your choices matter. Hidden one, brave heart. My covenant
with you. I have not forsaken you.
Psalm 71:9 Cast me not
off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength
fails.
I wondered why the Lord said, I have not forsaken you and
suddenly realized that I had been pondering the above
scripture.
REST
IN MY WHEELBARROW 11/13/15
When you placed your life into My
care, I have promised to carry you even through your
old age.
I will never, never leave you. I will never, never abandon
you.
Faith is like being carried in My
wheelbarrow. I AM the One Who moves you, I AM the One Who
lifts your burdens and carries you to where you belong. I
want to teach you to rest in My ability to take care of you
and handle your load. I promise I will not drop you. Your
journey in Me is not about who you are, it is about Who I AM
within your life. Rest dear one and let Me love you.
Isa
46:3-4 Hearken unto me, O house of Jacob, and all
the remnant of the house of Israel, who are borne by me from
birth, who are carried from the womb: 4 And even to your old
age I am he; and even to gray hairs will I carry you: I have
made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver
you.
Isa
53:4 Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried
our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten by God,
and afflicted.
