THE OIL OF GLADNESS
VISION 2/02/06: I saw a bottle of oil that
was in a decanter with a long neck. It had a popup top
on the lid. I saw the lid pop open.
HEARD: The oil of gladness. Soul, set her
free.
CONFIRMATION 2/05/06: When the lady at the
conference prayed for me, she asked me if I had been
prayed for according to James 5. This is where the
elders anoint with oil in the Name of Jesus to heal the
sick.
James 5:13-17 NKJV
Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is
anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. Is anyone among
you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and
let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the
name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save
[4982] the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if
he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your
trespasses to one another, and pray for one another,
that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of
a righteous man avails much.
SAVE
sozo
NT:4982 sozo (sode'-zo); from a primary sos (contraction
for obsolete saoz, "safe"); to save, i.e. deliver or
protect (literally or figuratively):
KJV - heal, preserve, save (self), do well, be (make)
whole.

Update
confirmation 2/19/06: Wayne asked me where
our oil was. Then he got our anointing oil and anointed
me to be healed. The moment he put his finger on my
forehead, I heard
HEARD: The oil of gladness.
Then he prayed and prayed and prayed! It was all I
could do to keep from laughing, I still laugh out loud
when I think of it. He kept rubbing the oil on my
forehead with his finger and it was rubbing a hole! He
was praying so fervently and I was trying so hard not to
laugh and not to wince at the same time.
What was even funnier was that I had just put a licorice
rope in my mouth and was chewing it when he approached
me. My mouth was stuffed with the black goo and I
couldn’t chew it, - feeling that would be
disrespectful. So there I was, choking on my smiles and
laughter, and trying to keep from slobbering.
I felt like a wiggly little kid “submitting” to prayer
by his elder! God has a funny sense of humor
sometimes. The next day I noticed I was feeling much
better when I woke and I remembered my husband’s
precious prayer.
WORD TO PONDER: OIL OF GLADNESS 2/2/06
Changes are coming, dear one. A merry heart heals like
deep medicine. I AM opening the lid off the bottle and
going to pour My oil of gladness upon you. Make merry
and be glad. Sing in good cheer. Laugh in your prayers
and enjoy My Presence. Your Papa is in the house and I
AM smiling upon My children. I AM coming to save the
sick and raise them up with the oil of gladness.
Ps 45:7 NKJV
You love righteousness and hate wickedness; Therefore
God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness
more than Your companions.
Ps 45:6-7 NLT
Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever. Your
royal power is expressed in justice. You love what is
right and hate what is wrong. Therefore God, your God,
has anointed you, pouring out the oil of joy on you more
than on anyone else. |
