RHEMA 12/03/10  OUR FAITH METER

PONDERED:  Today I pondered the invisible world.  We have germs that are invisible.  We have God's protection that is invisible.  We have the spirit world of angels, demons, and all of heaven that are invisible.  In what do we believe and if so, how much?  Where is our level of faith? 

2 Cor 13:5 NKJV

Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?

IMPRESSION:  In my mind's eye, I see a Faith Meter that looks like a thermometer and every issue that comes to us, touches our thermometer.  The meter moves up and down depending on whether we dwell on God's side of good or the demonic side of evil.  We can’t look 2 places at the same time, we must avert our eyes.  Therefore, when we regard the demonic world, we quickly turn it over and go back to God.

James 4:7-10 NKJV

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

MY KISSES ARE COMING  8/17/02

Whom shall I kiss?  You, My love.  The one with dove eyes, whose face sees only Me.  Even as a dove has fixed vision for only one thing at a time, you too, are the apple, the very center of My own eye.  Together, our hearts shall join as we gaze face to face.  Our hearts shall melt in the tender passion of our love.  Sparks shall fly as I pour My power into you, and you shall light up like the sun in full flame. 

How I relish the day!  My power is coming, My love, and I shall kiss you in the midst of your brethren.  A touch here, a brush of the hand there, and together our flames shall burst upon a waiting world.  Shocking?  Absolutely.  Do not be ashamed or embarrassed to be kissed by the One Who loves you so.  I have waited generations to embrace you.

One of our class assignments was to ask the Lord for something quickened by His Spirit concerning the Christmas season.  Then we were to list the particular words or ideas that were quickened and call them "buzz words."  The last step we were to write a love letter from God about the spiritual thoughts in regards to the buzz words.  I was tickled, when after I had added the Kisses from Papa to my rhema, the one below shared the following Word:

When I was two or three years old, my mother decorated a tiny tabletop tree in the living room that was placed at just my height. The tree was decorated with ornaments, but what really caught my attention was the candy! I remember being fascinated by this delightful tree. I was drawn to it, and loved to eat the Hershey's kisses my mom had attached with ornament hooks. It seemed like it was custom-made, just for me.

Buzz Words: "just my height", drawn, Kisses, hooks, custom-made.

I see the tree laden with kisses representing how our Father draws us to Him with sweet words. His gifts are custom-made.

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 

My child, I have walked with you since the days of your tender youth and those first sweet impressions. I have bestowed My gifts and spoken My words to you in a way you could comprehend at every stage of your development. I desire the best for you and want you to know that My plan for your life is custom-made. Even as you mature, continue to come to Me with the faith of a child, and I will delight you with kisses and feed you sweet manna from My hand.
