WORD TO PONDER: OUT OF THE MUD AND MOVING FORWARD
TO BREAKTHROUGH 2/06/07
Yes, things have moved forward like a turtle’s crawl.
And, yes, you have felt broken down and stuck. I am
sending My special helpers to turn you over and lift you
up out of the mud. I will bring several in time of need
to hug you and help you through this time. All that has
sucked you dry in famine, buried you in remorse and
shame, I want you brought up and out.
You have a small channel to escape for the cool drink
that you have longed for. Don’t lose old ground that
you have already obtained. Do what you can to maintain
your portion. Then, even though small, when you feel
the quickened channel of My Words open up, don’t lag
behind but move forward through the process to our
special meeting place. I want to rebuild that which has
fallen in your life. If you do not quit, I have a
breakthrough for you, where that narrow channel will
burst through all boundaries in amazing ways.
Ps 30:1-4 NKJV
I will extol You, O LORD, for You have lifted me up,
and have not let my foes rejoice over me. O LORD my God,
I cried out to You, and You healed me. O LORD, You
brought my soul up from the grave; You have kept me
alive, that I should not go down to the pit . Sing
praise to the LORD, you saints of His, And give thanks
at the remembrance of His holy name.
TURNING OVER THE TURTLE
VISION 2/03/07: In the prayer room, one of our
intercessors saw 3 of them turning over a large turtle
that was stuck in the mud. It took all their effort to
turn it over.
RHEMA 2/06/07 COME ON TURTLES, OUT OF THE MUD AND MOVE
FORWARD TO BREAKTHROUGH
HEARD: Explore the Words. Come turtle, find My
expression that is your due.
UPDATE 2/10/07: Today I read Roland Baker’s journey of
making a really difficult journey through the mud,
pulling the vehicle up and out many times in order to
make it to an awesome meeting. It was quickened to me
about turning the turtle over from being stuck in the
mud. I copied their mud photos and put it in my rhema
right here, without seeing what rhema came next.
CONFIRMATION: I added the photos about moving through
the mud without knowing what was next in the rhema.
INSERT HARVESTED TURTLE RHEMA
THE TURTLE DREAM 1980’s: A good friend of the family had
gathered his friends around him and he was giving them
farewells and gifts. He turned to me and said he had
something special for me. He told me to remember the
turtle, because it was the one that won the race, not
the hare. Then in the dream I saw a vision of a turtle.
When I awoke, my Dad called and told me that this same
good friend had just died.
I pondered the turtle and the Lord continued to give me
quickened thoughts about this “gift” I had been given.
At a later time the Lord also told me that He was going
to make me "rock hard." I was not sure what that meant
either.
One day I was sitting at a kitchen table with two ladies
telling them about these things, and they both said in
unison, “Just like the turtle shell!” They were speaking
of the term rock hard. It was a divine connection in
confirmations, because they too had received visions of
the turtle. Then one of them got up from the table and
showed me the turtle on her kitchen sink shelf. As we
discussed these things, we understood the Lord was
wanting to make our wills rock hard, unwavering, and
unbending when it came to telling the enemy NO. And the
three of us did go through several years of this
specific training.
UPSIDE DOWN TURTLE
HEARD 5/27/95: See it through her eyes. Rock hard faith.
Belly up. Turtle shell support you. Rule the world
upside down. In my pocket found a key.
SANDY COMMENT: This was the Lord’s comment to the fact I
was feeling upside down like a turtle on its back and my
feet waving in the air! He was saying that I had the
authority to change my position by using His keys to the
kingdom. Matt 16:19
In my past the Lord told me that He was going to build
within me a rock hard faith. At the same time He also
brought me rhema having to do with turtles that walk
very slow, and carrying a rock hard shell as a
protection and refuge. At that time, my son told me the
big turtles have no natural enemies, and that is why
they grow so big and so old. He said when in danger,
they draw in and hide! (I love that) They are also too
tough to eat. Rock hard.
The only that can happen to them is you-know-what...
they can turn upside down.
That’s the awful word called sifting. Belly up!
GRANDMA ANNA 8/29/92 SUPER TURTLES
HEARD: He's redeemed. His time is nigh. Wait for me says
Mary. Turtles in the race. Super- Turtles. Can fly. It's
not an easy thing being a turtle. Lot of times hiding
under their shell. Moves slowly but reaches his course.
He is so glad he isn't last nights' guacamole. It's
amazing how he changes his clothes underneath his shell.
Quite a commotion!
GRANDMA ANNA RHEMA
HEARD: Much gain in the heavenlies because of the
persistence. Strong faith brought reverberations. You’re
hearing Me. Not upside down like you think. Believe.
Much depends upon your faith in hearing. Continue to
push through and listen.
It's all right little one. Do not fear. Not hearing
static. My voice. No worldly care attached. Live in My
Spirit. Doing it. Peace. Mine. That's your key.
SANDY RHEMA
HEARD: You’ve changed. Rock hard faith. Discipline. I am
with you.
WORD TO PONDER: ROCK HARD FAITH
You may feel as though you have been tossed upside down
by evil storms, but I want you to know that I am pleased
with you! I AM teaching you how to stand and to become
rock hard in your faith. There are many ways to overcome
the evil one and the one above all is your shield of
faith. It is growing strong and unyielding. You are
fighting the good fight of faith, dear one.
Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love and
patience. Remain gentle with all men, but set your face
as flint against the enemy. Remember that walking into
your promises is occupied one step at a time. If I
called you to run full speed, you would collapse
exhausted before the finish line. As you learn to trust
Me every day and learn to stand strong against that
which defies My Words in your life, you are growing
strong enough to maintain your promises once you reach
them.
1 Tim 6:11-12 AMP
But as for you, O man of God, flee from all these
things; aim at and pursue righteousness (right standing
with God and true goodness), godliness (which is the
loving fear of God and being Christlike), faith, love,
steadfastness (patience), and gentleness of heart. Fight
the good fight of the faith; lay hold of the eternal
life to which you were summoned and [for which] you
confessed the good confession [of faith] before many
witnesses.
QUICKENED TURTLE HUMOR
I found the following humorous entry on the Internet and
thought it was too cute to pass by. To understand this,
is to understand what the Lord goes through in
communicating with us!
“My youngest son once thought that God was a turtle.
(God is eternal)”
QUICKENED POSTER: Today while walking in the mall, my
eyes fell on a sign in the Hallmark store: “Please
excuse our dwindled appearance. We are in transition
between old and new owners. New merchandise will be
coming shortly!” Then I noticed right below the sign
were a bunch of Teddy bears wearing graduation caps.
Three of them were riding turtles!
INTERP: This was humorous to me as a forerunner who has
wanted to get the show on the road! The truth is that
the whole class is graduating together into our
promotions. The church has been in transition, going
through a lengthy stripping. It’s been a long, slow
road, but we are graduating!
Eccl 9:11 NLT
I have observed something else in this world of ours.
The fastest runner doesn't always win the race.
WORD TO PONDER A PATH SET BEFORE YOU
As you trust Me to prepare the way before you, set your
heart at ease and let your steps become a dance from a
light heart. For I know the way that you take dear one.
Your pathway is charted ahead of you, just like the
furrows of mortar between bricks. These bricks are
foundation stones well planted in your walk of faith. As
you move ahead, you leave a legacy for those you love,
to follow with assurance. The mortar is your faith that
glues these building bricks together. As you dance upon
these faith filled pathways you embrace the knowledge
that it is not up to you to set your faith. That is My
responsibility to establish your faith and to set you
well with a rock solid foundation. So dance My love and
do no fret. This is a good work I AM doing in your life.
You may not know where you are going, but just follow
the road and it will take you where you are to go.
Remember that “fast” does not always win. So dance and
spin and let your heart go free.
Eccl 9:11 NLT
I have observed something else in this world of ours.
The fastest runner doesn't always win the race.
RHEMA 1/24/96 PATIENT TURTLE SCHOOL
HEARD: Examine this. Back to school. Be patient.
PIX: A very large sea turtle, with many miniature
turtles clinging on top of her shell.
RHEMA 3/8/96 THE SCHOOL OF LOVE
HEARD: Comfort. Growing up, establish. Story. Reach out
and grasp the concept. Where we’re at. Every Sunday,
basically the same thing. Truth.
Feedback. Father what can I do for him, for them?
PIX: I saw my son’s body from his feet up to his mouth.
He whispered the word “LOVE”.
HEARD: To be that turtle
RHEMA 10/1/96 BIRTHING MINISTRY
VISION: I saw a turtle and a florescent skeleton painted
on the tummy of this turtle.
HEARD: Where we are now. Through the birth canal.
DREAM PIX: I was painting a pencil facing down inside a
birth canal. The canal was a real woman’s womb, only it
was inside the big turtle.
HEARD: Authentic ministry. Building a leader. Trust.
Family loosed.
RHEMA 7/29/98 A WEALTHY TURTLE
HEARD: Adopted. Friendship. A unique bond. Destined.
HEARD: Paragraph.
PIX: I saw a golden turtle.
HEARD: Super sweet. Such grace. Divine streams. Wealth.
Dwelling place. A new beginning. I have a plan. Foot
prints. A love gift. Open the windows of heaven.
Blessings. Level of faith acknowledgment. Mustard seed.
RHEMA 2/7/99 POURING VERY SLOWLY
PIX: I saw a tea pot.
HEARD: Intuitive. Slow like a turtle. He needs a way to
go through this. Trust me.
RHEMA 4/26/95: TURTLE CALLING
SAW: I saw someone just opening a door a crack and
peeking out. Then I had a picture of the yellow traffic
light flashing at a major intersection of traffic. The
lights were out and everyone was to be cautious when
crossing traffic.
HEARD: Family. They are insecure about who they are.
Sandy too. Slow down. Turtle. Worth waiting for. I'm
going too fast for you.
[Lord what are we waiting for?]
HEARD: Your calling. The true nature of it. Back on the
drawing board.
“Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let
them not have dominion over Me: then shall I be upright,
and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.”
(Ps 19:13 KJV)
QUICKENED FACT: Lions don't eat turtles, although the
lion cubs certainly try. The strongest asset a turtle
has in matching wits against a lion, is to WAIT IT OUT.
Eventually the lion gets tired of poking and prodding
and leaves.
RHEMA 4/3/05 TURTLES SLOWLY TRANSITIONING TO HEALTH
HEARD: Transition, health. I will help you. We will work
on this together. Burden.
PIX: I saw a salt shaker shaking salt.
HEARD SONG: Mercy, mercy, mercy, mercy.
HEARD: Turtles. I am transitioning you. Slowly.
Shoulder.
INTERP TURTLE: The Lord has often given me the parable
of the children’s story where the slow and steady
turtles win the race. He is transitioning us into a
healthy place and this will slowly happen one step at a
time.
FROM THE RESPONSIBILITY OF AN IRREVOCABLE COVENANT
http://www.thequickenedword.com/salt1.html
Many are questioning whether or not they have somehow
messed up so badly that they have disqualified
themselves from either the Lord’s blessings, callings,
gifts or ministry. Consider the following scripture as I
discuss the covenant of salt. “For the gifts and the
calling of God are irrevocable.” (Rom 11:29-30 NKJV)
IT TAKES TWO TO AGREE
It is said that people used to carry pouches of salt and
when they made a promise to one another, they would take
a pinch of salt from their bags and place it in the
other’s bag. The symbol being that is was impossible to
retrieve or take back one’s own salt, or promise.
When the Lord gave a promise to David that his sons
would reign forever, He called it a covenant of salt. (2
Chron 13:5) The word covenant in the English dictionary
means, “A binding agreement.” In the Hebrew it means, “A
covenant, alliance or pledge between men or between God
and man.” In order for a covenant to take place, there
must be an agreement between two people.
Salt was also used as a preservative as well as for its
antiseptic qualities. Thus, the covenant of salt
represented an agreement that was incorruptible, to be
preserved forever.
PROMOTION COMES IN STEPS
PARABLE: If you transplant a plant
in too big of a pot, it will not produce fruit the next
year.
