RHEMA 2/21/08  OVERCOMING THE DARK NIGHT OF THE SOUL

PIX:  I saw a really bright light and then it shrunk to really low, just like the moon eclipse last night.

COMMENTS:  Last night was a moon eclipse and I noticed the red moon color and that reminded me of scriptures about the last days and hard times.  As I watched the light of the moon fade to darkness I felt it was a parable of one’s faith, when the light has almost been snuffed out.  I was so encouraged knowing that it would last but a brief moment and then the light would come back again.  Yesterday was a very hard day for me.

Isa 42:3-4  NKJV

A bruised reed He will not break, and smoking flax He will not quench; He will bring forth justice for truth.  He will not fail nor be discouraged, till He has established justice in the earth...

HEARD: What's happening?  Very flat. 

Ps 42:11 NLT

As the deer pants for streams of water, so I long for you, O God. 2 I thirst for God, the living God. When can I come and stand before him? 3 Day and night, I have only tears for food, while my enemies continually taunt me, saying, "Where is this God of yours?"  4 My heart is breaking as I remember how it used to be: I walked among the crowds of worshipers, leading a great procession to the house of God, singing for joy and giving thanks — it was the sound of a great celebration!

Why am I discouraged? Why so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again — my Savior and 6 my God!  Now I am deeply discouraged, but I will remember your kindness — from Mount Hermon, the source of the Jordan, from the land of Mount Mizar. 7 I hear the tumult of the raging seas as your waves and surging tides sweep over me.  8 Through each day the LORD pours his unfailing love upon me, and through each night I sing his songs, praying to God who gives me life.  9 "O God my rock," I cry, "Why have you forsaken me? Why must I wander in darkness, oppressed by my enemies?" 10 Their taunts pierce me like a fatal wound.They scoff, "Where is this God of yours?"  11 Why am I discouraged? Why so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again — my Savior and my God!

DREAM:  I was trying to fly and I had such opposition and been plundered so badly in my faith that I was just too heavy and couldnt lift up.  Finally I chose a different way and managed to get off the ground and start flying again. It was really low flying but at least I was off the ground!

PIX:  I saw a blaring red flashing light.  It said Security Warning!!

HEARD THE ENEMY’S VOICE:  Enemy.  Leave her alone!  She has no business being in our camp.  What's she doing here?  Toasted and angry a waste of money.

HEARD: Daughter you were there.  Hosts, they were there with you keeping you safe.   We had business to take care of.

Ps 23:4-5 NKJV

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.  You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies...

HEARD:  Urged not to be ashamed.  Security.  Love.  I kept you through the process.  Harvest field.  It's enough.  Battle plan, Mine. 

HEARD:  I will make it up to you.  You landed on your feet. 

Isa 61:7-8 NKJV

Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, and instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion.  Therefore in their land they shall possess double; Everlasting joy shall be theirs.  "For I, the LORD, love justice.

2 Cor 4:16-18 NKJV

Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

INSERT IN THE MIDST OF YOUR DARKEST HOUR

I WILL NOT BREAK MY COVENANT WITH YOU  1/18/08

Beloved, you have been so faithful to hang on even after every door has closed to the promise I gave you.  When I came in the midst of your darkest hour, I found faith.  Even when you had absolutely no earthly hope of it coming to pass, you still believed.  I saw that your candle was still shining in the window of your heart.  Even when it was but a flicker, you held on to the light of My Word. 

You have no idea how you have comforted Me!  There are so many who have lost the light in their lamps and they do not even know this.  How I grieve over them!  That you would wait with Me, and honor My Word even unto death and beyond your own grave... My dear, dear, faithful child.  Thank you. 

You stuck with Me even unto death, and I AM sticking with you.  I shall not break My covenant with you.  I AM giving you a new beginning where you will be totally released from the pain of your past.  Whatever earthly losses are dead, I shall replace.  I understand their significance and the true depth of value of your losses.  Precious, I AM the only One that really does understand.  And so you can trust Me to fulfill what I promised down to the very last micro value of meaning and weight. 

Num 23:19 NKJV

God  is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

QUICKENED TYPO:  I was typing the title of this rhema:  OVERCOMING THE DARK NIGHT OF THE SOUL

But I accidentally typed COVERCOMING THE DARK NIGHT OF THE SOUL. 

The Lord is saying that He COVERS us in the darkest of nights.  There is no where that we can go without His Presence.

Ps 139:7-12 NKJV

Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.  If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,  Even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me.

If I say, "Surely the darkness shall fall on me," even the night shall be light about me;  Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You, But the night shines as the day; The darkness and the light are both alike to You.
