We received a precious gift from a friend on our prayer team, it was the DVD of the March of the Penguins. That movie was one of the most incredible stories I have heard in a long time. It is a real living example of what intercessors go through in bearing children and bringing them to birth and then raising them up.

PROPHETIC GESTURE: I experienced an amazing prophetic gesture while watching it.

I was watching it on my lap top in bed and in my moving around, the pute slipped down my legs and ended up on my feet. The pute was balancing on my feet with the covers over them like the pouch of the penguin and I was moving my feet up and down with my pute on top. It looked like my lap top was walking on my feet. I had no idea what I was doing. The Lord opened my eyes to what I had involuntarily done and it astonished me. I was pantomiming the prophetic parable of carrying others on my feet through my writings, just like the penguins do!!!! God never ceases to amaze me.

THEIR STORY: In the Antarctica the Emperor Penguins migrate as far as 70 miles from the ocean onto frozen land to lay their eggs. They mate for that season, and then the males hold the egg on their feet, covered with their pouch to keep it warm. They balance the egg on their feet so that it never touches the frozen ground, lest it freeze immediately and die. All the while, the female mates walk back to the ocean and feed for up to 3 months, and their male partners endure the wait with their young upon their feet. With swollen bellies, finally the females return in a united army, marching back in one long enduring line. Sometimes they slip and slide, sometimes they drop to their bellies in order to save their feet, paddling like swollen boats with their flippers and toes pushing the ice. No matter what - they keep going. Every moment of delay means that the new born chicks will starve and the mates too weak to make the return to feed themselves.

It is a very difficult time for both mother and father as they endure famine and the cold elements of wind and storms. They must always keep moving lest they freeze too. They huddle together during the storms with their backs to the wind and they take turns moving to the center of the huddle, so they have respite from the outer most cold.

After the chick is born, it too rides on the feet under the pouch until it is finally mature enough to start walking and surviving the elements. Their little swollen bellies are just darling after the fathers have returned from their time at the ocean to feed them from their own digested food. When they are old enough, the whole family take the long walk back to the ocean together and the parents jump in. The chicks hang around until they too finally take the plunge. They stay in the ocean for 5 years, until it is their time to return to this place of migration to mate and bear their young at the same place they were born.

Behold, the Lord GOD shall come with a strong hand, and His arm shall rule for Him; Behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him. He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and gently lead those who are with young.

Within the womb of My intercessors, I have placed the God seed of My promises, My plan, My Word, My glory, My gathering together the remnant, bringing My kingdom to earth even as it is in heaven. These are My beloved hardy souls, who press on, enduring the cold elements that directly oppose My vision! Thank you, dear ones, for your faithful labors. Thank you for nurturing the seeds in which I have planted within you. Thank You for pressing through and never giving up. Thank you for standing with Me and abiding. I will not stop until My house is full of children, and your walking with Me through your cold world bears great, great fruit for your labors.
