rhema 8/16/09  PETER RETURN AND STRENGTHEN YOUR BRETHREN

HEARD:  First line of defense.  Strengthen the brethren. 

Luke 22:31-32 NKJV

And the Lord said, "Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat.  But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren ." 

[Lord what’s the second line of defense?]

HEARD:  Teach them.  Why am I being punished?  Obey.  Moving to a better place in the process. Humility.  Humble.  To remain submissive.  Offering.  Do not be afraid. 

Heb 12:11-13 NLT

 No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening — it is painful! But afterward there will be a quiet harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way.  12 So take a new grip with your tired hands and stand firm on your shaky legs. 13 Mark out a straight path for your feet. Then those who follow you, though they are weak and lame, will not stumble and fall but will become strong.

HEARD:  Cleared for landing.  Rock remain.  Solid foundation.  Must be strong.  Dont quit.  Witness.   Back by popular demand.  Buckle up for power.  I am with you. 

Matt 16:18-19  NKJV

And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.  19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." 

HEARD:  Partner.  Oracle.  I am attentive to you.  I have made provision for you. 

HEARD:  You need to take more responsibility?  Load.  Enough! 

HEARD:  To stick with your children is My highest calling.  Connected.  To watch over them.  Watch care.  Who are My children?  The ones who listen.

Peter, you have gone through a great sifting.  Presumption, temptation, independence and need to be accepted has taken you through the wringer, turned out over and left you badly shaken. 

I am attentive to your prayer and will make provision for you.  Now on the other side, I exhort you, do not quit.  Return to strengthen the brethren who are now going through similar washings.  Teach them, help them understand through what you learned in the same process.

Peter, My highest calling is for you to stick with My children.  Walk with them, watch over them, and stay connected.  Who are My children?  The ones who will listen.
