PLAYING CATCH UP

UPDATE: With all the work on my website, I got 2 months behind in doing rhema. This whole thing really stretched me out of whack and I lost my resting place in hearing Him.

HEARD 12/27/04: Almost at the end of their rope.

VISION: I saw an email with the subject titled in all caps, FOCUS.

HEARD: You have made sacrifices. Support you in this. Playing catch up.

Lot's of work to do. I'm ready to go forward. Can't you help me? It was fainting. Sweetheart, I will sustain you. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee. Calm down. Connected. Lean. She rests with deep intimacy. My daughter.

ANOINTED HANDS: I turned to a page and in the margin it said, Perspective is different. Then I turned many pages over to: "The secret to developing an eternal perspective in the midst of earthly problems. They were able to live above their circumstances and rejoice, even while being persecuted because of their firm grasp on who they were in Christ and where they were going."

HEARD: Stretched out of balance.

ANNA'S WORD: Anna came in and shared what she had just turned to in her Selah Words, (which are the harvest of her own rhema, like my Words to Ponder are a harvest from mine) and it was perfect for my prayer request that the Lord bring me back to my resting place.

SELAH WORD: YOUR RESTING PLACE IS TOPSY-TURVY 9/21/02

Your resting place is topsy-turvy. You sigh and you cry as though I have not spoken to you the truth. The truth should be of great comfort to you, dear one. So, again I say, you shall be made whole! Put aside your own agenda and believe Mine. Yes, it is awesome and you can scarcely believe I Am speaking about you. But it is truth, My love, and everything I have promised will come true in your life there on earth. Not one thing has failed thereof of all My good promises to you. So, come into My rest and wait patiently for it all to come to pass.

"So God set another time for entering his place of rest, and that time is today. God announced this through David a long time later in the words already quoted: "Today you must listen to his voice. Don't harden your hearts against him." This new place of rest was not the land of Canaan, where Joshua led them. If it had been, God would not have spoken later about another day of rest. So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who enter into God's rest will find rest from their labors, just as God rested after creating the world. Let us do our best to enter that place of rest. For anyone who disobeys God, as the people of Israel did, will fall." (Hebrews 4:7-11 NLT)

WORD TO PONDER: DISTRACTION

You have a divided heart. Many responsibilities pull and tug and demand your attention. Only one will do. And that is to follow Me.

You have yet to understand what it means to cast your care upon Me. My burden is light and easy when you are yoked with Me, just as two oxen at a plow divide the load and neither feel the true weight of the burden. Because you are ensnared by the tangled cares, you have forgotten your resting place; that place where you bring all that divides your time and energy back to Me. Allow Me My place by your side, helping to divide your load and partnering with you to get the job done.

Bring your responsibilities back to Me and let us rearrange your priorities. Together we will divide the load and not your heart. Together, in one mind, in one purpose, we will get the job done and you will find joy and energy in the process.

"And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her." (Luke 10:41-42)
