PROMISES TO THOSE WHO ARE MEEK 4/19/08
Jesus said of Himself that He was meek. Those who are
meek, are humble, lowly, self abased, gentle, and
submitted. The promises of the meek are that they will:
-
inherit
the earth.
-
be
delighted in an abundance of peace.
-
receive
equity (justice and fairness)
-
be hidden
in the day of the Lord.
-
trust in
the Lord.
Psalms 37:11 NKJV
But the meek {6035} shall inherit the earth, and
shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
Isaiah 11:4 NKJV
But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, And
decide with equity for the meek {6035} of the earth; He
shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, and
with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked.
Zephaniah 2:3 NKJV
Seek the LORD, all you meek {6035} of the earth, Who
have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek
humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day
of the LORD's anger.
Zephaniah 3:12 NKJV
I will leave in your midst a meek {6035} and humble
people, and they shall trust in the name of the LORD.

for OT:6030], chastenself, deal hardly with, defile,
