THE BUZZ WORD OF THE WEEK:  PURE HEART  12/15/11

This week I have read the word "pure heart" 3 times.  One via email, 1 posted on FB,  and God TV posted that Bob Jones is speaking on a pure heart this week.

WORD O' GRAM  12/15/11:  PURE HEART

Purged from what once defiled, having

Undergone a cleansing, I am

Ready to lift my hands and heart to God.

Emptied of self I stand before Him in His

Holy place as already having been

Examined.

A choice to stay clean as I

Reach to see Him and

Then fervently love others.

Ps 24:3-6 NKJV

Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place?  He who has clean hands and a pure heart, {1249} Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully.  He shall receive blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.  This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your face.

Matt 5:8 NKJV

Blessed are the pure in heart, {2513} for they shall see God.

1 Peter 1:22-23 NKJV

Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart. {2513}
