QUICKENED WORDS FROM MAGAZINES
Sometimes when I am waiting in an office I will pick up
a magazine and ask the Lord to speak to me through
quickened eye glances, anointing hands of turning to the
right page, and the power of His quickening upon plain
words.
Here are some examples:
EXPRESSIONS OUTSIDE THE BOX
10/01/04
QUICKENED EYE GLANCES FROM MAGAZINE: Think
outside the box. Express it. A new leash on life. Clear
sailing. Touching expression. Powerful medicine. Seize
the moment. Do it yourself.
[Sometimes I feel led to flip through magazine pages at
random and see what is quickened to me. I have done
this with yellow pages and also newspaper ad sections.]
WORD TO PONDER: THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX
I AM giving you a new leash on ways to hear Me and share
your life in Me with others. Learn to think outside the
box and express what is inside of you. This is powerful
medicine, readily available, if you only cease the
moment. You can do this, you have clear sailing on open
seas!
John 1:45-46 NLT
Philip went off to look for Nathanael and told him,
"We have found the very person Moses and the prophets
wrote about! His name is Jesus, the son of Joseph from
Nazareth." "Nazareth!" exclaimed Nathanael. "Can
anything good come from there?" "Just come and see for
yourself," Philip said.
THE REVELATION ABOUT
CHURCH ORPHANS
One day I was thumbing
through a magazine and came across the following quote.
It hit me between the eyes. “Orphan comes to town.
Like most foster children, he has developed a quirky
charm, an unattached air, a ruddy survival complex, and
a deeply ingrained sense of independence.”
An orphan has no brothers or
sisters. An orphan has no support system or role models
from loving parents. An orphan has no family. Orphans
arrive in our lives every day and we need to see them as
God sees them, behind their walls of self assurance into
the heart of their deep need to belong and to be loved.
The bottom line truth, is that we need to adopt orphans
of all ages, size and color and embrace them as our own
family.
Scripture says that He will
not leave us comfortless or abandon us as orphans.
Scripture also says that pure religion is to care for
the widows and the orphans.
John 14:16-18 AMP
And I will ask the Father,
and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor,
Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and
Standby), that He may remain with you forever-- The
Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome,
take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know
and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for
He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you. I
will not leave you as orphans [comfortless, desolate,
bereaved, forlorn, helpless]; I will come [back] to you.
James 1:27 NKJV
Pure and undefiled
religion before God and the Father is this: to visit
orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself
unspotted from the world. |
