RESTING
IN THE CLOUDS
[Open
The Door To Rest]
GRANDMA
ANNA RHEMA
EXPERIENCE: Today I was so tired I fell asleep in my
chair.
HEARD:
Handmaidens usually do too much. They wear themselves
out.
Upon
awakening I looked out the window and saw a sign in the
sky in the clouds. The clouds looked like a lady sitting
at a desk. Then she turned into a duck. It’s head was
turned with the bill tucked under the feathers of its
wings. That is where its oil glands are located.
In my
thoughts, I likened the oil glands to His anointing. The
duck‘s bill was even receiving what I would call an
anointed mouth as it rested. Lord, help me apply this
lesson while I am working at my desk or out and about. I
so desire to live in Your anointed presence by way of
Your Kingdom principles. I want to come into your rest
in all that I do and say and not be so stressed out.
SELAH
WORD: LEARN TO REST WHEREVER YOU ARE
Beloved
handmaidens, learn a lesson from the ducks. They rest
with their bills comfortably tucked into the feathers
where I placed their oil glands. Likewise, search out
the oil of My presence. You will find it in My place of
rest. You are wearing yourselves out with too much
activity. I have not placed all that stress upon you.
Come into My resting place and hide yourself in the
shadow of My wings. That is where you will receive My
anointing.
"So
God's rest is there for people to enter. But those who
formerly heard the Good News failed to enter because
they disobeyed God. So God set another time for entering
his place of rest, and that time is today. God announced
this through David a long time later in the words
already quoted: "Today you must listen to his voice.
Don't harden your hearts against him." This new place of
rest was not the land of Canaan, where Joshua led them.
If it had been, God would not have spoken later about
another day of rest. So there is a special rest still
waiting for the people of God. For all who enter into
God's rest will find rest from their labors, just as God
rested after creating the world. Let us do our best to
enter that place of rest. For anyone who disobeys God,
as the people of Israel did, will fall." (Hebrews 4:6-11
NLT)

SANDY
RHEMA
I had
been thinking about the doorway to His throne room. For
many years I had been interceding over this.
HEARD:
Just opposite the doors. To the throne room. The wait,
it won’t be that long.
VISION:
I was lying on my back looking up at the huge doors,
waiting for them to open. I had my hands behind my head,
my right leg crossed over my left knee, and I was
bouncing my calf and foot back and forth, like I used to
do as a child. When I was bored as a child, I would lie
on my back, crossing my knees in the same fashion, and
look up at the cloud formations in the sky.
The Lord
was tongue and cheek telling me that I was to wait in
front of the doors, and I might as well relax while I
was doing it!!!
CONFIRMATION: Today, my son and I are outside watching
Wayne pressure wash the house. My son (knowing zilch
about my rhema this day) puts his arm around me and
chants: "One, two, three, four. We need someone to open
the door. Five, six, seven, eight. We need someone to
open the gate!"
CONFIRMATION: When I came back in I glanced at my Family
Circus calendar: The family was looking at the clouds
and an outstanding sky. Jeffy asks, "Is it an ad for
something Mama?"
This
confirmation was a 2 fold joy, because today was also
the day I took the cloud photos in to get negatives made
for my book cover.

{Words
to Ponder are summaries of His quickened Words}
WORD TO
PONDER: REST AND WAIT FOR YOUR DOOR OF PROMISE
Long you
have waited for My promises to come to pass! As you wait
upon Me, I want you to learn to rest in your faith. It
is one thing to believe Me, it is another to rest in the
process. Resting does not change your focus or
anticipation, it merely gives you a relaxed contentment
as you do so. Dear one, I will grant you many joys with
signs along your pathway. These will delight your heart
as you fully rest in Me. I AM able to perform that which
I have promised. What joys await you, dearest!
Heb
4:1-3 NLT
God's
promise of entering his place of rest still stands, so
we ought to tremble with fear that some of you might
fail to get there. For this Good News--that God has
prepared a place of rest--has been announced to us just
as it was to them. But it did them no good because they
didn't believe what God told them. For only we who
believe can enter his place of rest. |
