Pre-service
prayer 9/22/07 REDEEMED FROM FEELING DISQUALIFIED
VISION: During prayer I saw a silver trumpet
blowing and a sheet of silver rain came from heaven.
Then I saw a seed that had been either dormant, dead or
delayed break through its shell, through the dark ground
and sprout into new life.
INTERPRETATION: Silver means to purchase or
redeem. I felt that the Lord was announcing that He
would redeem His Words that had been planted and were
laying dead, dormant or delayed due to the mistakes of
men, and that He would rain upon them and bring them to
life and they were destined to bring forth good fruit.
CONFIRMATION; Another intercessor shared the
following quote that someone had sent to them this
week: "He does not call the qualified, He qualifies
the called."
CONFIRMATION QUICKENED STORY: When I got home
from prayer, I downloaded the following story from a
friend: "A workman was telling me of something that he
saw on his job site. The area where he was working had
just recently been paved with 4 inches of asphalt. Just
the other day he noticed bumps in this newly laid
surface. He broke open one of these lumps and found a
mushroom. There were many of them coming up through the
4 inches of asphalt. It was hard for him to believe
that something so soft could push its way through
something so solid. He told me that you could not push
through that hard surface if you wanted to, but these
mushrooms were coming through just fine. He said that
if you stepped on them they would crush, and yet they
were pushing their way through this hard surface. God
is amazing.
As we stand in our weakness under insurmountable
obstacles our God is making a way through what seems
impossible. I have heard many people refer to
themselves and felt so myself like a mushroom in a
cave. God is breaking through using an impossibly soft
tool, us - as we stand in His presence and upon His word
inspite of what we see."
{end quote}
1 Cor 1:26-31 NKJV
For you see your calling, brethren, that not many
wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many
noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish
things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God
has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame
the things which are mighty; and the base things of the
world and the things which are despised God has chosen,
and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the
things that are, that no flesh should glory in His
presence. But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became
for us wisdom from God — and righteousness and
sanctification and redemption — that, as it is written,
"He who glories, let him glory in the LORD."
Confirmation:
When I got home and posted this Word, Grandma Anna wrote
and said they had prayed almost the exact same Words in
their own home town prayer meeting tonight.
