REST IN YOUR DONE
A lady sent me a precious Word. I had just finished
creating/ designing the forum and was so tired and burnt
out. I didn't think I had another Word left inside of
me.
She said she heard the Lord say that I could rest in my
DONE. That is a very precious secret Word joke to me. My
sister in law adopted an autistic child from Romania.
When she was young, she learned the word DONE when she
was ready to get down from the table and somehow it
transferred to other references. When she was totally
spent and was totally through with her ability to cope
with a situation, environment, car ride, or shopping,
she would start saying, "Done, done, done, done, done!"
It was darling.
This phrase caught on between Wayne and I. When we get
overwrought with being out away from the house, we say,
"Done!" And we know it is time to go home and rest. So I
have been chuckling that the Lord has sent me our secret
code Word that I could rest in my DONE. Isn't He
precious??
WORD TO PONDER: REST IN YOUR DONE 11/08/05
When you complete a project, sometimes you just need to
rest in your “done.” Maybe all you needed to do for the
day was one simple task, but it was all that you could
do and it took everything you had to do it. Precious
ones, I have watched you drive yourselves for years,
even over the smallest details, - simply because you are
faithful.
Thank you for asking for My help and leaning on Me. You
cannot live a life that is pleasing to Me, and be
separated from Me. Moreover, when you are connected, it
gives Me such pleasure to help you in your journey. I
see all that you overcome in your daily life, and that
you need to learn to give pause, rest and refreshment to
your body, soul and spirit. Learn to take pleasure in
the accomplishment of the most simple tasks, knowing
that I AM with you and care for each and every detail,
just as you do. All that you do gives Me great pleasure,
because I so deeply value the cost of your faith and
your effort.
Mark 12:42-44 NLT
Then a poor widow came and dropped in two pennies. He
called his disciples to him and said, "I assure you,
this poor widow has given more than all the others have
given. For they gave a tiny part of their surplus, but
she, poor as she is, has given everything she has."
