RESTORING THE DOORKEEPER

The following revelation is about restoring the calling and authority of being a doorkeeper. Within every family, church, school, job, community, region, etc there are prescribed boundaries of authority that govern each group. This is true in the natural and true in the spiritual. Within groups, every one of us have authority and the power to cast our vote in the area in which we have responsibility to plant our time, our prayers, our callings, our gifts and our assigned positions. Even if we are a child taking care of a beloved pet, we can open and close doors on behalf of protecting such!

After I received the rhema in this post about His restoring this post of doorkeeper, He told me an area where He wanted me to make a decision about either opening or closing the door. I had been hearing the term stalemate recently and He told me that in the spirit there was a stalemate. As a doorkeeper, I had been given the swing vote and that I needed to wait upon Him for as much input as possible because my one vote could literally swing the door open or close in this situation! I was astounded and realized it was like being a judge with a gavel and having the power to say Yes or No. This put the fear of God in me! But I knew this was truth.

And now here is the revelation as it was given to me:

RHEMA 9/23/06 CASTING YOUR VOTE AS A DOORKEEPER

VISION: I saw some property that had been staked out. The corner stake was missing on one of the 4 sides. The stake was to establish the boundaries and had previously been planted in the exact corner. I could see that the hole for the stake was still there but now the ground level had sunk at the corner, and so it had fallen and needed re-staking.

The Lord revealed to me in viewing it that it was a position that had fallen and needed to be restored. The ground level needed to be built up and firmly established again so the stake could again be secured. In spiritual terms, this is “taking territory that had fallen down. It is also rebuilding that which had fallen.”

HEARD: I’m in need of you. The whole hosts. We all are. How about we do this together? We’re going into new places. Door open, you left a door open. Swing vote. This swing vote needs to be a very careful decision. It represents too much. What time is it?

CLOCK TIME: 7:55

[7 = Completion; 5 = double portion grace. Time to close the door to the old season, and come into the new one of grace, grace.]

[I then pondered and prayed about the decision of either closing or leaving the door open to an area He had been speaking to me about.]

CONFIRMATION QUICKENED SONG: Immediately after, I turned on my IPOD and shuffled the 300+ songs. The song came on, I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of My God, then to dwell in the tents of the wicked. This song was a home recording of someone’s worship and the only words in the whole song was that phrase!!! She sang it over and over and over again. Talk about confirmation!

Ps 84:12 NKJV

How lovely is Your tabernacle, O LORD of hosts! My soul longs, yes, even faints For the courts of the LORD; My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. Even the sparrow has found a home, And the swallow a nest for herself, Where she may lay her young — Even Your altars, O LORD of hosts, My King and my God. Blessed are those who dwell in Your house; They will still be praising You. Selah Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, Whose heart is set on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baca, They make it a spring; The rain also covers it with pools. They go from strength to strength; Each one appears before God in Zion.

QUICKENED REVELATION: Suddenly I realized two things about that scripture I had never seen before:

For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.

To be a doorkeeper is like being in a court room of decision.
If you dwell in the tent of the wicked you don’t have the authority to cast your vote for anything but wickedness.

Confirmation QUICKENED GESTURE: I turned on my computer to type in my rhema, and the screen popped on that said, WELCOME. I found my mouse finger drawing a circle around the word Welcome. I have never done that before and it was an absentminded pass time while I was waiting. Suddenly the Lord opened my eyes that it was a prophetic gesture because the term, “Welcome” is the phrase used to open a door! I was drawing circles around this word.

CONFIRMATION: When the computer was finally on (smile) I downloaded my emails. And the report came through of those who had un-subscribed to my email list. There were 2 addresses on it and one email address had the word “doorkeeper” in it!!! I saw that not only was that a confirmation to being a door keeper and casting our votes, but they had closed a door to receiving from this ministry.

He had my thorough attention!!! It is time to become doorkeepers and cast our votes in the areas in which He has given us authority.

Update confirmation 9/24/06 I turned with anointed hands this morning to a new place I had never seen before. I highlighted the following in my Bible that I placed in all caps below. It was very revealing to me to notice that they had gatekeepers established on all 4 sides, and that was exactly what I had seen in the vision of the property with the stake missing, - that the property had 4 sides.

1 Chron 9:17-27 NLT

The gatekeepers who returned were Shallum, Akkub, Talmon, Ahiman, and their relatives. Shallum was the chief gatekeeper . Prior to this time, they were responsible for the King's Gate on the east side. These men served as gatekeepers for the camps of the Levites. Shallum was the son of Kore, a descendant of Abiasaph, from the clan of Korah. He and his relatives, the Korahites, were responsible for guarding the entrance to the sanctuary, just as their ancestors had guarded the Tabernacle in the camp of the LORD. Phinehas son of Eleazar had been in charge of the gatekeepers in earlier times, and the LORD had been with him. And later Zechariah son of Meshelemiah had been responsible for guarding the entrance to the Tabernacle.

In all, there were 212 gatekeepers in those days, and they were listed by genealogies in their villages. David and Samuel the seer had appointed their ancestors because they were reliable men. These gatekeepers and their descendants, by their divisions, were responsible for guarding the entrance to the house of the LORD, the house that was formerly a tent. The gatekeepers were stationed on all four sides — east, west, north, and south. From time to time, their relatives in the villages came to share their duties for seven-day periods.

The four chief gatekeepers, all Levites, were in an office of great trust, for they were responsible for the rooms and treasuries at the house of God. They would spend the night around the house of God, since it was their duty to guard it. It was also their job to open the gates every morning.

DOORS THAT OPEN TO SEE HIS FACE ARE WITHOUT IDOLS

CYRUS THE DOOR KEEPER

Isa 45:6 NKJV

"Thus says the LORD to His anointed, To Cyrus, whose right hand I have held — To subdue nations before him And loose the armor of kings, To open before him the double doors ,So that the gates will not be shut: 2'I will go before you And make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze And cut the bars of iron. 3 I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden riches of secret places, That you may know that I, the LORD, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel. 4 For Jacob My servant's sake, And Israel My elect, I have even called you by your name; I have named you, though you have not known Me. 5 I am the LORD, and there is no other; There is no God besides Me. The key of the house of David I will lay on his shoulder; So he shall open, and no one shall shut; And he shall shut, and no one shall open. 23 I will fasten him as a peg in a secure place, And he will become a glorious throne to his father's house.

Rev 3:7-12 NKJV

"And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, 'These things says He who is holy, He who is true, "He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens": 8 "I know your works. the watchman keeps the doors

Mark 13:33-37 NKJV

Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is. 34 It is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch. 35 Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming — in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning — 36 lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. 37 And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!"

DISCERNMENT OF WHO & WHAT YOU HEAR OPENS AND CLOSES DOORS

John 10:1-6 NKJV

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. 2 But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. 5 Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers." 6 Jesus used this illustration, but they did not understand the things which He spoke to them.

WORD TO PONDER: RESTORING THE AUTHORITY OF THE DOORKEEPER 9/23/06

I AM restoring the authority of the doorkeeper. Within every family, church, school, job, community, region, there are prescribed boundaries of authority that govern in the natural and in the spiritual. The doorkeepers have the authority and power to cast votes in areas where they have planted their time, prayers, callings, gifts and assigned positions.

These doorkeepers are given the authority to say yes or no. Such a position has the power to break spiritual stalemates; the swing vote where the one vote will turn the tide of destiny. In stalemates, this is operating as a judge in the spiritual realm, with the power of the gavel to establish the boundaries of finality.

Walk with clean hands, a pure heart with a soul cleansed from idolatry. Do not abide with the wicked. Do not make your decisions in presumption or haste. Judge nothing before its time, but instead wait upon Me to bring the revelations needed to cast a righteous vote. Be responsible and reliable to guard the doors of those you care for, and close the door against the wolf that seeks to tear and rip asunder.
