1/19/07 RHEMA RETURNING HOME TO YELLOW RIBBONS
PIX: I saw a flag pole and a large mail box
snuggled right up next to the pole. There was a yellow
ribbon around the mail box and pole.
When POWs (prisoners of war) return home after a long
war, they often see yellow ribbons tied around trees,
poles, and posts, representing a warm welcome home. I
was thinking about the yellow ribbon representing POWs
returning, rather like the prodigal sons returning home.
And the flag pole is the Lord’s banner, or ensign
company that He is raising up in this last days ministry
as His token. This is the Lord’s way of saying, YES HE
WANTS US & WE WANT THE PRODIGALS.
POEM: RETURNING HOME AFTER SO LONG 1/19/07
Coming round the corner and what do I see?
A mass of yellow ribbons waiting for me.
Waving in the wind, without hesitation,
Calling me onward towards visitation.
The crowds are fanatic, joyful in response.
To witness my courage, leaving nonchalance.
I’ve returned to the Truth, of what I believe
My soul is enraptured, His love do I cleave.
A party in my honor, such love and grace.
Glorious smiles, hugs and tears as we embrace.
My life in the pig’s sty, there was so much shame.
But here there is no shame; His love casts no blame.
Luke 15:17-24 NKJV
"But when he came to himself, he said, 'How many of my
father's hired servants have bread enough and to spare,
and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my
father, and will say to him, "Father, I have sinned
against heaven and before you, and I am no longer worthy
to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired
servants."' "And he arose and came to his father. But
when he was still a great way off, his father saw him
and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and
kissed him. And the son said to him, 'Father, I have
sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no
longer worthy to be called your son.' "But the father
said to his servants, Bring out the best robe and put it
on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his
feet. And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and
let us eat and be merry; for this my son was dead and is
alive again; he was lost and is found.' And they began
to be merry. |
