RHEMA 9/21/08  RETURNING IN REPENTANCE

HEARD:  Wall.  Having already seen.  I am with him.  I am dealing with him. 

Heb 6:4-6 NKJV

For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance , since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.

POEM:  WHO CAN STAND?  11/23/04

Oh God, when I hear of a chosen man falling,

Who can stand secure, walking in their calling?

My heart weeps in despair for the pain that is there

As such a one bares the weight of this care.

How deep the pain to know Your anointing

Of being an ensign of Your pointing;

To feel the heartthrobs with their great demand,

To know Your power now slips through the hand.

When Your anointing departs, the void is real.

The hole craves filling from pain the soul feels.

How deep the pain to know Your still small voice

Is replaced by demons due to sin’s choice.

Chastisement is Your way with ones gone astray.

Oh my God, give us all grace to obey!

Without Your great grace to keep us from falling

We are mere men, trying to walk in a calling.

Your gifts and calling are without repentance.

Such a warning requires all excellence

To use our trials this side of Your promise,

That the fires of life burn out our dross.

How can You choose us, with no guarantee

That we’ll be faithful, to serve only Thee?

You’ve given us free will, that is Your plan.

Heaven on earth always comes through a man.

If a public one falls before he dies

Grant public repentance to denounce the lies.

This will bring comfort to all who so mourn

Who bear the reproach of prophetic scorn.

It will comfort those who fear for that soul

That hell’s flame will swallow that one whole.

Sacrificial repentance will heal and mend

That which was torn and thoroughly rent.

We are sinners falling short of Your glory.

Cloaked with masks, and covering our stories.

If one man could repent after having been sent

Prodigals might come home from where they went.

Please let there be a final heroic deed

For Your people who are in such great need.

Let them hear truth from a repentant heart

So the fires of revival can find their start.

Building monuments and idols to men,

Is placing pedestals - credit on lend.

For God alone must receive His glory

Through mere men who share His story.

Dan 11:35 NKJV

And some of those of understanding shall fall, to refine them, purify them, and make them white, until the time of the end; because it is still for the appointed time.
