WORD TO PONDER: RULING OVER YOUR OWN SPIRIT
12/06/07
Whoever does not rule over his own spirit is like a
broken down city without walls. Dear one, there are
times that when life’s pressures mount, that which is
cracked in your life will seep out bitter fruit.
Beloved, no one has to tell you what is broken in your
life, you already know.
Please bring Me your broken walls and I will teach you
to rule over your own spirit. I AM teaching you that
you can not live the Christian life, or become Christ
like without My help. You cannot bear good fruit
without Me, you must cling to, adhere to, and rely upon
Me as your Source of life, strength, nourishment. Stay
glued to Me. The very nature of clinging is
faithfulness. It is a refusal to let go, even when your
flesh and your soul reap bitter fruit. Faithfulness is
having the faith that even in your bitter places I can
help you overcome and begin to rule in places where you
have fallen.
John 15:4-6 AMP
Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me,
and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear
fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united
to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you
abide in Me. I am the Vine; you are the branches.
Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant)
fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union
with Me] you can do nothing. If a person does not dwell
in Me, he is thrown out like a [broken-off] branch, and
withers; such branches are gathered up and thrown into
the fire, and they are burned.
Prov 25:28 NKJV

city broken down, without walls . |
