SEALED AND PROTECTED

Today someone asked me the following question and it was quickened to me to look up what I had written about it, the day Wayne wrapped the books:

Dear Sandy,

Just a quick question about the WONDERFUL books you shipped me in March. They are a BLESSING to me. I was wondering if there was a special reason that you wrapped each one in plastic wrap ? I know these books are special and I am just now starting to "fine tune" my senses to recognize and acknowledge what has been with me for so long.  Thank you for writing these books for the Lord, and for me too!

3/17/07:  Wayne wanted to go do errands and I went to go to the mail box and passed him as he was preparing a very large book order, one of each book and it really surprised me that Wayne was wrapping each book in plastic wrap.   I made a comment about it and he said, " I always WRAP the books."  I knew he wrapped the books, but never noticed that each one was individually wrapped.  That word hit my spirit strongly since I had already spent the day pondering the word “wrapping.”  

RAVIOLI’S ARE WRAPPINGS

I had a dream about raviolis and lettuce today.  It was a private dream, and so I am only giving what is quickened as appropriate to share.

The word ravioli comes from the Italian verb ravvolgere, meaning "to wrap."

Definitions of wrap on the Web:

·       arrange or fold as a cover or protection; "wrap the baby before taking her out"; "Wrap the present"

·       cloak that is folded or wrapped around a person

·       a sandwich in which the filling is rolled up in a soft tortilla

·       wind: wrap or coil around; "roll your hair around your finger"; "Twine the thread around the spool"

·       wrapping: the covering (usually paper or cellophane) in which something is wrapped

·       envelop: enclose or enfold completely with or as if with a covering; "Fog enveloped the house"

SUDDEN REVELATION

I realized there was a pattern in the dream:

The boxes I saw in the dream were wrapped in brown paper.

The salad was wrapped in clear plastic bags at Costco.

The raviolis were wrapped in clear plastic bags.

The way these all were wrapped were a focus in the dream.   That was a 3 fold witness.

As I was pondering the above revelation I also considered that:

1)      boxes themselves are a wrapping for what is inside

2)      ravilios are a wrapping for the meat that is inside

UPDATE 4/14/07:  Pastor prayed in the prayer room, “...like prophets wrap themselves in blankets.”  He was calling on the Lord to hover over us with His blanket and protect us with His covering.

I'm not sure how this fits in, but when I saw the title "sealed and protected" I had to share it because it fits.

My daughter (who is 2 1/2) handed me a round cover to a vitamin that I take -- the piece that you take off the top so you know that no one has tampered with the bottle before you take what's in it. She said, "Jesus, Mommy." I dismissed it as her giving me a piece of trash and put it down.

Later that day, she came up to me again and handed it to me and said, "Jesus, Mommy." I thought, why is she saying Jesus about this scrap of paper?

Then when I looked at what it had printed on it, over and over again, I knew. It said, "Sealed for your protection." Then I realized it was God's way of telling me that although I feel under attack, I've been sealed by the Holy Spirit and I'm under His protection -- and what He has deposited in me cannot be contaminated by my spiritual enemies!!

"In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise" (Eph. 1:13).

Thank you for sharing that beautiful and awesome Word with us! I will never again look at those little bottle sealings without hearing her precious voice remind us of His beloved promise, that He has sealed us for protection!!! How marvelous are His Words to us!
