1/17/18 SELF CONTROL WHEN ABIDING WITH HIM
TEMPERANCE: FULLNESS OF FRUITS
OF SPIRIT
I saw a Grapefruit. I knew it meant the fruit of the
spirit called Temperance, where He is bringing His finest
crop into maturity.
QUOTE BOB JONES – TEMPERANCE BY
ABIDING IN HIM
SELF CONTROL
This was the grapefruit.
It is again the grape, being loyalty and bearing fruit. It
was big, both sweet and sour. Sweet staying focused on the
Lord and sour, putting to death the old man every day. And
self control means having control over one’s emotions. It’s
when you are in charge and staying focused on Him. Having
control over your own emotions.
This is the only thing you can give Him. But when you can,
this character in your nature, you are in the Vine. You
become John 15:15. The divine nature has worked in you and
you have become the friend. You are not longer a slave, you
are a friend. For you and the Vine are connected. And this
friend, He tells everything to.
I learned a long time ago that my relationship with the Lord
is not based on my performance. It’s based on my abiding, my
relationship with Him. My partaking of His divine nature,
which are these 9 fruits. All of us have a little room to
grow in this. But we should strive for it. For when we bear
this, we can come into His Presence any time we want to and
bring Him our gifts. And He will give those to whoever has a
need.
So when the thoughts come and you say no to them. You say, I
am bearing fruit, I am abiding. I may not be doing the works
that many want to do, but I am taking on the divine nature
of Christ. And I am becoming a friend.
ABIDING MEANS TO LIVE WITH
Matthew 3:16
Joh 1:32 And John bore record, saying, I
saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it
abode upon him.
Even though I have read the Strongs many times, I never
connected the idea that abiding means to LIVE WITH.
NT
Mark 6:10 And he said unto them, In what place soever ye
enter into an house, there abide till ye depart from that
place.

ANNIE’S VISIONS –
ABIDING UNDER HIS
COVERING
In prayer I saw a glorious covering under which some of His
own ones were dwelling, which was from God and was most
desirable. Through that covering He brought forth many, many
gifts and blessings to them - things that they greatly
needed. Thus, as they remained under this covering He
nourished, sustained and blessed them, bringing life and
health, growth and protection.
However, none of His blessings came to those of His who did
not abide under that covering, for He only gave them to
those who were dwelling
under this canopy. No matter how dire their need or
how pressing their circumstances, still they could not
receive these provisions because they were not under the
covering He had given them.
TEMPERANCE IS NOT THE LAW 7/09/06
What are you digesting, what are you reading, what are you
watching? Communion with Me does not mix with the
fellowship of devils, nor with fellowship with the world and
its carnal pleasures. Your conscience is cognizant of all
that.
I understand that you have fought to find your freedom
between grace and law. And you know that all things outside
of biblical sin are lawful, but not all things are loving or
edifying. Remember, there is no law against Temperance.
When you have matured into adulthood, the fruit of
Temperance will finally have matured in your life. It is in
that place that you will find a great release of authority
and power. To a people without mixture, I will give My
power without measure.
Ga
5:22-25 KJV
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness,
temperance against such there is no law . And they that are
Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and
lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the
Spirit.
