SHAME AND THOUGHT LIFE 11/15/11
DREAM:
I saw that one of God's sons had to get down on his
hands and knees to push a lever under his bed, every
time he had to flush the toilet and it cost him a dollar
every time he wanted to flush the toilet. No one else
at Christian camp had rooms like that. When I asked him
about this, the fact he was having to pay for flushing
cost him rewards and perks that others were getting at
camp. I had a mother's heart for him and felt this was
very unjust and it made me very sad that he had been so
quiet about it and did not let me know how unfair he was
being treated. He was carrying his sufferings on the
inside of him and had no one to confess and unveil his
heart to.
HEARD:
Humility.
THE VEIL OF GUILT FROM OUR THOUGHT LIFE
Sometimes a person's thoughts are bombarded by the enemy
and it can make someone feel guilty wondering if they
are coming out of their own heart. Demons not only
slime people with bad thoughts but also cause
accompanying emotions and if a person doesnt understand
the source, they take ownership and feel guilty. Guilt
and shame creates a veil over one's heart that separates
one from the Lord where they can not see, hear, feel and
experience the Lord in ways they are desiring.
If a person has a hard time getting in touch with ones
inner self, then there may be a hard time recognizing
guilt, shame or a veil with the Lord. The way to
recognize a veil is when a bad thought comes, it is not
immediately taken to the Lord and instead it makes you
want to run away and avoid the issue.
Demonic thoughts are like monkeys eating bananas on our
backs. Dont slip on their attempts to make you trip.
Simply bend low and let the banana peels fall into the
trash and shake the monkey off the back. The way to
overcome demonic thoughts is do
not
believe they come from your own heart. Instead bind
them and command them to leave in Jesus name. And
lastly take the thoughts directly to the Lord and
acknowledge to Him that He heard the thought and ask Him
for help to overcome them.
Darkness likes to hide behind veils which is the
opposite of transparency. It is grieving the Lord that
His sons think they have no one to confess these things
to, so they are hiding and stuffing them and this is
bringing barriers in their hearts towards Him. And
according to 2 Cor 3:16-18, when we transparently turn
to the Lord, the veils on our hearts are taken away and
it is only when we are unveiled can we be changed and
experience His glorious liberty.
2 Cor 3:16-18 NKJV
Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is
taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the
Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all,
with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory
of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image
from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
When Joshua was covered in the demonic slime of filthy
garments, he was stripped before the Angel of the Lord,
not before mankind. In Papa's infinite love, He covers
the shame of our nakedness when we remove our veils
before Him. On our behalf, He rebukes the enemy, washes
us, clothes us with rich robes and gives us a new charge
with great authority. What a remarkable privilege to be
called His own.
