RHEMA 6/21/07  SHOWING YOUR FACE

I was thinking about the post that came out last night about overcoming insecurity.

HEARD:  Are you OK?  Having a tendency to run out the door.  Last stage of development.

PIX:  I saw a big red apple.

ANDREW

(an'-droo) (Andreas, i.e. "manly." The name has also been interpreted as "the mighty one, or conqueror"): Andrew was the first called of the Twelve Apostles.

ZEBEDEE

(zeb'-e-de) (zibhdi, "the gift of God"; Zebedaios): The father of the apostles James and John (Mark 1:19) and a fisherman on the Sea of Galilee (Mark 1:20), the husband of Salome (Matt 27:56; compare Mark 16:1).

COMMENTS:  This rhema reminded me of Don Potter's testimony where he turned his piano towards the wall to worship the Lord.  He was distracted by people and only wanted to focus on the Lord.  He faced the wall until he overcame all the hangups that were holding him back from breaking free of what was restricting him.

I have been hearing a lot of rhema recently about our faces.  We are coming into a season of graduation where the Lord is turning His people around in order to reveal their face. It is taking His conquering Spirit to share the face of these gifts that have been hidden for so long.  He is saying that there needs to be healing in places where people want to run away and hide.  This is the last stage of soul healing prior to showing one's face. 

Ex 34:29-35 NLT

When Moses came down the mountain carrying the stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant, he wasn't aware that his face glowed because he had spoken to the LORD face to face. 30 And when Aaron and the people of Israel saw the radiance of Moses' face, they were afraid to come near him. 31 But Moses called to them and asked Aaron and the community leaders to come over and talk with him. 32 Then all the people came, and Moses gave them the instructions the LORD had given him on Mount Sinai. 33 When Moses had finished speaking with them, he put a veil over his face. 34 But whenever he went into the Tent of Meeting to speak with the LORD, he removed the veil until he came out again. Then he would give the people whatever instructions the LORD had given him, 35 and the people would see his face aglow. Afterward he would put the veil on again until he returned to speak with the LORD.
