RHEMA 8/03/13 THE SIMILITUDE OF THE LORD

Today I had an interesting experience.  I went downstairs in the sun beam and spoke in tongues and meditated upon Him.

HEARD:  I imparted to you a blessing.  In the Grotto.

A grotto is a small cave or cavern. 

1 Kings 19:11-13 And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind tore the mountains, and broke in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake: 12 And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. 13 And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entrance of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What do you here, Elijah?

Psalms 57:1 Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusts in you: yea, in the shadow of your wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities have passed.

HEARD:  What is it you seek from Me?  Let’s talk about it. Do not be afraid.

EXPERIENCE:  I heard mourning doves cooing outside.

[Lord please take me to the grotto.]

EXPERIENCE:  I was sitting in the sun beam downstairs and suddenly had the impression I was sitting inside a cave and there was a rock ledge to my right.  Upon the ledge was a goblet and bread.  This was not a vision, it was more like a day dream fully cognizant.  My mind kind of floated to a fern that was embedded into the wall near the front of the grotto and a little bird landed on the fern that was bouncing up and down.  It hopped down onto the ledge and put a bread crumb into the palm of my hand.  I suddenly realized this must be the Lord and more than an impression or even an inspired day dream, because I was expecting the bird to come down to receive a piece of bread but instead He gave me bread.

So I prayed in tongues some more and asked the Lord what else was inside the grotto cave.  As I was wondering what was to my left, my attention was instead taken to the front of the cave.  The light was flooding into the opening and the similitude of Jesus had appeared!  The Light was so bright, I could only see His outline of His body shape, robe and hair.  I must have entered into the Spirit!  Seeing the Lord’s similitude surprised me so much. I realized that the Lord had suddenly appeared in the midst of my day dream and it brought me joy to be able to enter into His Spirit this way through simple soaking in the sun beam, soft tongues and meditating on His simple Word about a grotto.

THE SIMILITUDE OF THE LORD

Numbers 12:8 With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?

CONFIRMATION 8/04/13- Neville shared about seeing the similitude of the Lord. 

“Sometimes it is not in a clear form.  But that’s OK, it’s valid.” 

“Exposure to Him makes you a little more like Him.  It changes you.  You see His form, not necessary all His features.  But there is an impartation that comes out of that.” 

“He is appearing to His people now.”

1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the children of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

WORD TO PONDER:  THE SIMILITUDE OF THE LORD  8/03/13

Dear ones, spend time with Me, just soaking in My Presence and having fellowship with Me.  Now is the time when I will begin to appear to you in unusual surprises and unique ways.  Sometimes you expect visions of grandness and spectacular fireworks, when all that matters is that we spend time together.  I long for you just as you long for Me.  Set time apart precious one, to rest and pray.  Have expectation that I will meet you exactly where you are.

Philippians 4:8-9 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. 9 Those things, which you have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
