SIMPLIFY YOUR RESOURCES 3/23/08
PARABLE: Today I was building a 10,000 page pdf
file that I could use for the quickest database search
possible instead of using other search alternatives. I
needed it to also include the links to the posts to my
website, so it took longer to build. It took 6 hours so
I decided to play one of the solitaire games I have on
my pocket pc and chose one that is called Simplicity. I
looked at the odds and it said 4 out of 5, and I had
never found one with such great odds. I expected to win
the first couple games because the odds were so high.
After losing them, I decided to start putting some
thought into strategy and not just randomly playing it.
I immediately saw that one needs to leave at least one
blank space to give room to move and organize the
cards. The more blank spaces the better because at the
end of the game you may need to lay a lot of cards down
that don’t fit elsewhere.
About that time an alert popped up on my computer that
said Word was out of memory and I needed to make sure I
really wanted to do that command, because it could not
be undone. This was after several hours of working on
establishing the links. I breathed a sigh of relief
when it continued to safely finish the file. I knew I
was pushing it to build the file so big but I really
needed the file to stay together.
QUICKENED MEMORY: I suddenly remembered that I
had heard the word “Simple” a number of times recently.
I knew this parable was the Word of the Lord.

HEARD: I am training you. How to stay
simple.
Rom 16:18-20 NKJV
For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus
Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and
flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple . 19
For your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I
am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be wise in
what is good, and simple concerning evil. 20 And the God
of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly.

HEARD: Let’s keep our wits about us. Back at
the starting gate. One, try to keep them simple. ...
For all of our trying, it isnt for the lack of it.
RHEMA 3/06/08
HEARD: Profound. She’s not getting this
yet. Profound and simple. Listen. Organized. That
makes a difference. Paint by numbers. Keep it simple.
Click, click, click.
RHEMA 3/06/08
HEARD: When you let go, I plugged in. Isnt
that simple? Believe.
Luke 22:42-43 NKJV
"Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me;
nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done."
Matt 3:15 AMP
But Jesus replied to him, Permit it just now; for this
is the fitting way for {both of} us to fulfill all
righteousness {that is, to perform completely whatever
is right}.
HEARD: The end of the day, it’s a good day. I
feel good. I know I am doing the right thing. It’s
keeping me. Beary happy. News for you, the water’s
flowing. And beary wealthy ever after. Beary funny.
HEARD SONG: I sing because I’m happy. I
sing because I’m free. For His eye is on the sparrow,
and I know He watches over me.
WORD TO PONDER: SIMPLIFY YOUR RESOURCES 3/23/08
To every season there is a purpose. And at the end of
every season is an accumulation of many puzzle pieces
fitting together into one place. It can become
increasingly cumbersome unless you stay organized and
remain committed to simplify your life. Beloved, you
need space set aside for now and for your future. If
you use all your resources now, you wont have it for
future growth. Find ways to save time, money, energy,
emotions, and space. Pinpoint what is encumbering you
and give it to Me and be willing to let go. Hire help
if need be to simplify and lessen your load.
I want you free to move forward into the next phase of
My plan and if you are bogged down with burdens, you
will be too pressed to move and too bound to expand.
My plan for you is expansion without limitations on your
growth, productivity and passion. Beloved I want you to
come to your fullest potential. Make a plan to simply
your life by throwing out what does not work,
simplifying what does, and condensing all into something
manageable. This is not for demotion, but so that you
can build on solid foundations with even greater
measures.
Acts 2:46-47 NKJV
... they ate their food with gladness and simplicity
of heart, praising God and having favor with all the
people.
2 Cor 1:12 NKJV
For our boasting is this: the testimony of our
conscience that we conducted ourselves in the world in
simplicity and godly sincerity...
CONFIRMATION:
when I
finished posting the above, I started in on a new
project and used my new search file. I came to this
entry and it was quickened to me as a parable of
consolidating and simplifying our lives into one solid
place.

11/26/95 CONSOLIDATION INTO wholeness
HEARD:
Sell.
Assignment.
[Thinking about
building the body towards wholeness.]
HEARD:
Connected.
PARABLE:
As I was
editing the above sentence in my book, the word
wholeness was separated on two pages: whole-ness. I knew
this was a parable of division and I needed to fix that!
So I adjusted the leading and put wholeness together on
the same page.
Eph 4:1-6 NKJV
I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you
to walk worthy of the calling with which you were
called, 2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with
longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, 3
endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond
of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as
you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord,
one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who
is above all, and through all, and in you all. |
