WORD TO PONDER:  SLAYING GOLIATH, YOUR SOUL GIANT   4/26/07

I AM bringing the circumcisions of the soul to a head, where there is no choice but to slay your Goliath.  Emotions, circumstances and events will climax to a point where you must face the strongman in your soul and kill it dead.  No bartering, defenses, compromises or settling will do.  There is no way out except obedience.  It must be slain dead and crucified to the cross of My will for you. 

Beloved, never forget that in the deepest most miserable anguishes of your soul, I have only allowed into your life exactly what you need to deliver you and set you free to walk in complete liberty in My Spirit.  Where My Spirit is, there is liberty.  You have given me the keys to come through your doors and sweep you clean.  And that is exactly what I AM doing.  I do this because I love you, I agonize over you much more than you agonize in dealing with places in your life that do not line up with My image.  So allow the finished work of the death of that soul giant to release its last breath. 

Heaven triumphs in every death to self will.  Hell trembles and the angels rejoice.  It is not for our mutual suffering and agony, but because of the knowledge of the joy that is coming from having died to what mattered to you the most.

...He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear, though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered.

Heb 12:1-2 NKJV

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
