THE SPIRIT OF ELIJAH INTERCESSION 12/09/13
Malachi 4:5-6 Behold, I will send you Elijah the
prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day
of the LORD: 6 And he shall turn the heart of the
fathers to the children, and the heart of the children
to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a
curse.
The spirit of Elijah intercession is being a bridge
spanning between the age of grace and the new age of the
kingdom of God. It is the long suffering of waiting for
the brethren through standing in the gap for them to
safely cross over Jordan, holding back the demonic
floods. This intercession is multi-faceted focusing on
different aspects but all relating towards the one goal
of preparing the way for the last day rains of God and
the manifestation of the sons of God.
The result of the spirit of Elijah intercession will be
the times of the restitution/ restoration of all
things. {Restitution Greek = reconstitution by adding
water, to reconstitute in health, home or
organization:—restore again.} This time will be when He
sends His rain and Jesus walks through the door and is
manifested through His sons.]
Malachi 4:5-6 Behold, I will send you Elijah the
prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day
of the LORD: 6 And he shall turn the heart of the
fathers to the children, and the heart of the children
to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a
curse.
Luke 1:17 And he shall go before him in the spirit
and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the
fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the
wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for
the Lord.
Matthew 17:2-11 And was transfigured before them: and
his face did shine as the sun, and his clothing was
white as the light. 3 And, behold, there appeared unto
them Moses and Elijah talking with him. 4 Then answered
Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to
be here: if you will, let us make here three
tabernacles; one for you, and one for Moses, and one for
Elijah. 5 While he yet spoke, behold, a bright cloud
overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud,
which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well
pleased; hear you him. 6 And when the disciples heard
it, they fell on their face, and were much afraid. 7 And
Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not
afraid. 8 And when they had lifted up their eyes, they
saw no man, except Jesus only. 9 And as they came down
from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the
vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again
from the dead. 10 And his disciples asked him, saying,
Why then say the
scribes that Elijah must first come? 11 And Jesus
answered and said unto them, Elijah truly shall first
come, and restore all things.
Mark 9:11-12 And they asked him, saying, Why say the
scribes that Elijah must first come? 12 And he answered
and told them,
Elijah truly comes first, and restores all things;
and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must
suffer many things, and be treated with contempt.
Acts 3:19-21 Repent therefore, and be converted, that
your sins may be blotted out, when the times of
refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; 20
And he shall send
Jesus Christ, who before was preached unto
you: 21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of
restitution of all
things, which God has spoken by the mouth of
all his holy prophets since the world began.
Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the
pure in heart: for they
shall see God.
Psalms 24:3-7 Who shall
ascend into the hill of
the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy
place? 4 He that has clean hands, and
a pure heart;
who has not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn
deceitfully. 5 He shall receive the blessing from the
LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. 6
This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek
your face, O Jacob. Selah. 7 Lift up your heads,
O you gates; and be you
lifted up, you everlasting doors; and the King of glory
shall come in.
Matthew 11:11-15 Verily I say unto you, Among them
that are born of women there has not risen a greater
than John the Baptist: yet he that is least in the
kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12 And from the
days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven
suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. 13
For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.
14 And if you will receive it, this is Elijah, who was
to come. 15 He that has ears to hear, let him hear.
