BELOW IS RHEMA ABOUT THE PARABLE OF BEING BLIND - Consider that God uses “dark” speech in our lives so that we will lean upon Him and thus have “see” the “light” of revelation... past our mind-sets, assumptions and self sufficiency.

RHEMA 11/13/03 LEARNING TO ABIDE

QUICKENED EXAMPLE: I was thinking of an example of abiding where a blind man is in a new city and has a companion who takes him around.

CONFIRMATION: As I had just been TA that example, I got out of the shower and Don Potter's CD said, bring all the blind who have eyes but do not see.

WORD TO PONDER: A PARABLE OF ABIDING 11/13/03

You have often wondered what it means to abide and how to do it. You question where you are, where you are going, and haven't a clue. Relax dear one, I AM teaching you how to abide.

Consider the blind man who has moved to a new city. As he listens to the sounds, experiences the smells, and deposits what he touches into memory… He is leaning upon another who has eyes to see. His companion walks with him giving him understanding and insight into what his senses are experiencing.

Every move he makes, everything he experiences… he listens, learns and remembers. His daily life is a safe refuge because he clings to his companion. And that is abiding in Me. Abiding is living in a constant state of expectancy where your whole being is leaning upon Me for your sight, your hearing, your discernment, your understanding and all your needs. Abiding is a constant state of friendship and intimacy in all that you are and do. So precious, when you question what is going on in your life, cling to Me and learn.

John 15:4 NKJV

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

RHEMA 3/14/04 LEADING THE BLIND

DREAM: I was walking or maneuvering a blind person on a college campus to a class. We were on a sidewalk and there were a bunch of lavender umbrellas, all the size for outdoor picnic tables. They were laying all in a large pile on the sidewalk. There was a tiny place to walk around them and still remain on the sidewalk.

HEARD: Your mindset has cursed you over the next 3 years. It's not so. Recover habits. Restore such a person.

RESTORING THE BLIND PERSON: If you are earnestly seeking the Lord, this is for you:

1. First of all you are not lukewarm.... your desire and flame for Him grows stronger as He draws you. Lukewarm believers simply don't care or respond - they think they already have enough of Him. If you have been crying out for more of Him, then you are "disqualified" from being lukewarm.

2. You do not say you have need of nothing because you are keenly aware of your lacks and continue to ask the Lord for more. You are not satisfied with what wealth and natural gifts give you. You appreciate them, but they do not fulfill you and instead you are wanting more of the Lord. One of the reasons the Lord chose you for wealth, IQ, natural gifts and talents is because He could trust you with them. He knew the teachableness of your heart and that you would lay ambition and idolatry down at the cross. That is very rare for one so gifted.

3. You are not naked; He has told you that you are already dressed in white.

4, The Lord is not rebuking and chastening you. He is affirming, teaching and training you. Sometimes training means correction, but there is a big difference to that versus rebuke.

5. "Be zealous and repent." The foundation of repentance is the fear of God, atleast what I know so far. I repent almost every day because I see my lack of measuring up to His standards. On the days that I do not repent, I have that veil between us of condemnation until I finally realize it and climb back into His lap. Repentance to me is a willing heart. If there is something I am blind to, then He points it out, I say I am sorry then with His help, I point myself in a different direction and begin to change. There comes a place where the tug-a-war of rebellion stops and we come into a great place of favor... not because of our works or what we accomplish and "do" for Him (although He GREATLY appreciates those things), but because of our tender, vulnerable and pliable places in our hearts towards His correction and training as a proud Papa Who loves His child.

He is wanting to bring you into the rest of His favor, where no matter what happens with the alarms, that you are so deeply settled in His love with His scepter extended ... that He becomes Papa, the One Who will always open His arms and heart to draw you to His lap. He hears all your doubts of disqualification and it brings a veil between you two and it sorrows Him. There is nothing worse than one sided love where one reaches and reaches and is not able to break through the barrier of doubt.

It is my earnest desire that you rip away the veil of disqualifying fear from Rev 3:17, and come into His arms of love... and stay there.

Papa I pray that You will heal this fear that is so deeply rooted. I ask that You will pull out any roots of self rejection and bitter roots. I ask that You will do this so gently by Your love that there will be no trauma. I ask that as these thorns are removed that You pour Your warm healing balm into their holes and let them heal naturally through time and experience. Fill them with Your Spirit of adoption Lord. He cries Abba Father.

BLIND MEN HAVE SPECIAL GIFTS:

There is a place deep inside of us that is deeper than skin deep. It is past being able to look at someone's body language, face expressions and demeanor. When a blind man sees with the eyes of his spirit, he has developed instincts that are very perceptive. He does not have the same security blankets that most people do, in learning who they can trust and how to get along in an unstable world. A blind man sees things differently and he picks up things that others do not, simply because he is not distracted by the outward appearance. He sees and hears with different antennas. That is what it is like to pick things up in the Spirit.

But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."

EXPERIENCE 4/5/06: ASSUMPTION = BLINDNESS

Tonight I spent 3 solids hours on the phone in tech support helping a man work through a problem he was having. Tech support is like helping a blind person “see” their answer and yet being blind yourself since you can not see their screen. It is a parallel of being blind as you are trying to see the problem through their blinded eyes. If they do not communicate properly, it becomes a real problem of maneuvering.

So the day before the tech support appointment, I gave him one simple instruction that he was to do in preparation for the phone call. The first thing I asked him when we spoke was if he had completed that task. He said he forgot so I waited until he said it was completed and then we began. No matter what angle I tried with him, we came up with the same problem. I was getting really weary and he was feeling guilty for taking my time and suggested he could take it from there. But I was not willing to let his problem go until I saw him through to victory.

After many ideas in trouble shooting, I started to think about my original instruction and so we started testing to prove to me that he had really done that instruction. Every test showed that he had not, and yet he was positive he had. In the end his blind eyes were opened as he realized that my original diagnosis was correct, he needed to have completed the simple instruction I had given him the day before and he assumed he had done it, but he had not. His assumption was his blind spot.

[LESSON: God sometimes has to walk us through a patterned cycle of problems, until we are finally able to “see” our areas of presumption and assumption that hold us in blindness.]

When to listen and when to speak

Is a matter of integrity and remaining weak.

People who cover over their sins will not prosper. But if they confess and forsake them, they will receive mercy. Blessed are those who have a tender conscience, but the stubborn are headed for serious trouble .

RHEMA 6/11/06 QUICKENED SCRIPTURE ABOUT BLINDNESS AND JUDGMENT:

Mark 4:11-12 NKJV

"To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables, so that 'Seeing they may see and not perceive, And hearing they may hear and not understand; Lest they should turn, and their sins be forgiven them.'"

REVELATION: I saw that He is such a God of forgiveness, if someone asks Him for forgiveness, He has to forgive. So He turns them over to be blind and deaf so they wont repent. Because if they repent, He forgives and then must heal them. The key word is “LEST” they should turn and be healed. To be given over to blindness can be a judgment and the way to be released from that is to repent of having a hard heart against His Word. The way to tell the difference if one is blind as a judgment is whether or not they can repent or see the need to repent.

And Jesus said, "For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind." WORD TO PONDER: UNDERSTANDING THE SPIRITUALLY BLIND AND DEAF 6/11/06

I AM the LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children's children to the third and the fourth generation.

When I judge a people blind and deaf, it is so they will not repent. For if they repent, I must heal them. This is Who I AM. Do you understand?

Confess now your blindness to My ways, to My truths and to your knowledge of Who I AM. Confess now your deaf ears to hear My voice. Confess your errors of presumption and I will heal you. I will open your eyes to know Your God, the Creator Who loves His children and only wants volunteer love to fill His house.

Precious one, do not misunderstand this truth. If you know you are deaf and blind without My help, then you are not given over to this judgment. Those who are given over do not have the ability to repent, because they do not know they are deaf and blind. True sight is in seeing your dependence upon Me for all things. It is in your repentance of independence that releases My blessings to heal.

WORD TO PONDER: DELIVERANCE 9/5/91

I have delivered you from a strong enemy. I have set you in a large place because I have delighted in you. Look in the distance and it belongs to you. I preserved David and I preserved you. Did I not say I bring recompense?

Do not think little of yesterday's invisible chains. I kept you blind to the degree of their strength so that you would not fear, for I planned a strong deliverance on your behalf. I kept a careful eye upon you and allowed portions of battle to strengthen your spiritual muscles. In the process, you grew strong and were able to overcome much. Now as you partake of freedom, understand much is what you earned by the sweat of your brow. But the enlarged expanse is My gift.

I promised multiplication of your work and I have given you the increase. Consider it a promotion, well deserved My faithful servant, and consider it a gift, larger than your own obtained portion. I delight in you.

WORD TO PONDER: MYSTERIES WILL DOVE TAIL 2/20/97

I have been speaking to you through dark speech, riddles, and allegories which are puzzles in the making. For many years, these have been coming to you a piece at a time. I know you have felt like a blind person seeing as well as hearing in the dark. But there will come a day after you turn a prophetic corner when all the pieces will come together and dove tail beautifully. This shall bring a great increase to your faith. You shall see clearly and the mysteries will be manifested and understood.

“All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.” (Matt 13:34-35 KJV)

WORD TO PONDER: ANOINTED SHEPHERDS WILL SEE 3/11/00

My Anointed Shepherds, you who dwell in My Presence. You are blinded and without understanding. I have placed you in My capsule of love, surrounded by My loving Presence that you might grow and become holy bold. That you might grow to speak forth My Word in the power of My Spirit. I will open your eyes to see and understand.

I send you My written invitation that you shall come to birth and be baptized in My power. I AM sending you help and you shall help others. For your intercession is birthing a nation of rulers. And these shall be lifted up and see Me in My temple. They shall behold My glory and know the train or mantle of My authority. They shall rule the earth with the rod of iron and serve the King of all kings.

WORD TO PONDER: Before THE SECOND WIND 5/21/00 & 4/6/00

O My dove, let Me hear your voice; for I have set My Name upon you and chosen you for My very own. My wife, My dear one. I hear your sighs by reason of heavy taskmasters. Your weight is heavy. The burden of your load is extremely difficult. I groan as I know and feel your pain!

Dear Father I pray for My beloved. I love My bride! I want to breathe upon her a second wind of refreshing. Even as in the days of Your first wind, I want to endue her with power. The battle has been long and under the strain of her load she has fallen, not knowing which way is up. Hear her cries for help and send her mercy. For I long to send her mercy, I long to bless her with My second wind of refreshing.

Father help her to choose the right path - the pathway of holiness. For only in that path can she overcome the insurmountable odds sent against her. Even now the deceiving antichrist spirit is in the world. The only way she can overcome this is to cut off its luring passions and lusts. My bride has been lured into carnal entertainment and this deceptive spirit is stealing the heart of My wife! Instead of being washed pure by the water of Your Word, she has fallen into compromise through the brainwashing of carnal filth.

Give her mercy and operate on the cataracts that blind her vision. Let her see the deception and return to Me, her Husband. Give her grace to turn from her appetites for self gratification For the pain from her taskmasters is great and she knows no way out but to comfort her own flesh. Oh Father she is so close to death! Help her to sever this, for this same spirit that is mesmerizing her to sleep and compromise is also the same spirit that will one day trodden her under foot. The only way to escape that day is the pathway of holiness.

Even now We are measuring the temple that encompasses those who dwell in My most holy place; those who have separated themselves from the outer courts of the world. Even now You are offering this same grace to others, to cut off the death grip of carnality. And even now You are offering access for those to come into Your most holiest place.

My bride can not hunger for the spirit of the world and also hunger for the Holy Spirit. She can not have one foot in the outer court and one foot in the holy place. She must choose. I long to endue My wife with My power! Help her to choose the One Who loves her with eternal passion!

I long to endue My wife with My power! I longingly wait for My bride! I want to roll away the reproach of her sins. I want to empower her for service. I want to breathe upon her and send her reversal - where she is no longer the tail but the head. Where she tramples on the head of the enemy and she delivers the captive and heals the sick! She longs for My touch! She longs for My wind of refreshing. She longs for My power! Father hear My prayer and give mercy to My beloved bride. Please help her to climb up upon the highway of holiness and come to Me. And as she chooses Me, breathe upon her and let the enduement of Your power come!

WORD TO PONDER: DO YOU NEED SURGERY OR FAVOR? 4/14/04

When the enemy has made plans against you for your destruction, always remember that I hold the wind and the waves within boundaries. Sometimes I allow the enemy access to rebuke and chasten the ones I love who have burned their consciences and are blind to their own rebellions. Yes, a time of surgery is coming for those who are blind, naked and lukewarm. They have tested Me through their love for compromising worldly entertainment and fallen short. This has opened the door to embracing plastic counterfeit spirits into their lives.

Those of you who have yielded to Me in earnest repentance, those who are humble, willing, teachable and yielded to Me, you have nothing to fear. As you bow low before Me with fearful hearts, not because you fear the demonic plot, but because you want to please Me, I completely canopy you with My grace and favor. Anything the enemy says becomes a false alarm, for you are safely preserved. He may accuse you of being slimed from the counterfeit and the storm may appear violent but it will pass you without harm.

I do allow the wind and the rain to touch your soul and flesh. I will use the storms in life to draw out and separate that which does not belong to Me. I separate between the soul and the Spirit that My living water may run clear and pure without mixture in your life.

Yes I ask you to stand and say no to the enemy slime and uncertainties. Yes it is vital that you learn to read the signs of the times and stay within the boundaries of safety that I have prescribed. As you stand in the reality of My generous covering, you will find, dear one, that no matter what you see coming against you, it will turn to mere smoke that is swept right past you. Let Me carry you and your burdens. No matter what the alarm, do not worry precious one. It is your choice to rest in My favor and stand against the alarming signs of the times.

John 17:15 NLT

I'm not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one.

WORD TO PONDER: WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND 8/26/04

Plant a seed and reap a harvest. Always know that My mercy covers you when you continually humble yourself and seek Me concerning your failures of flesh. If My people were to truly reap the crop of what their flesh has planted, no one would be able to endure it, let alone you.

So trust Me, dear heart. I may grant you a small portion of reaping in order to help you break free from a continual fleshly pattern that has been stuck in the rut. Sometimes this has to be a learning process through experience. You may know the right way, but until you live it, you remain blind and only fool yourself. There are times when I allow you to stay blind and walk through a painful experience, just for that climaxing moment of revelation. It is that moment when suddenly you see the way you were treated are the seeds you, yourself. have planted in your flesh. When the blinders are taken from your eyes and the moment of revelation impacts you, it is in that place of learning that you will be able to stay committed to resist your flesh and make a different decision to stay out of the rut.

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

WORD TO PONDER: OVERCOMING MIND-SETS 10/03/04

Precious, I want to teach you about mind-sets. Mind-sets are fortified opinions that are set in their ways. Mind-sets are strongholds. Mind-sets lock everything into an unchanging place. Mind-sets keep truth from coming in and they keep lies from being removed.

When I send My Truth, and you are blinded against receiving it, it is because of your mind-set. If you will partner with Me to identify a mind-set when I shine light upon it, then we can work together to remove it and set you free to change and become free.

You also have mind-sets about your loved ones and this is keeping them locked in the same old patterns. These mind-sets are expectations. They have behaved in circled patterns for years and therefore you expect them to continue such. Their behavior and your mind-set has given you much grief and hopelessness when you pray over your loved ones. Even when I AM changing them and setting them free one day at a time, you are unable to see this because of your mind-set about them.

Please understand, when you have expectations, whether they are good or bad ones, that expectations are faith. It is your negative and positive faith that sends both demons and angelic hosts to the person for whom you have faith. The mind-sets of your expectations can actually bind or loose your loved one into further captivity or increased freedom. So repent dearest, repent and openly confess your failed mind-sets in your life and watch Me set you and your loved ones free from your past. Free at last, free from your past.

2 Cor 10:4-6 NKJV

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

RHEMA 12/5/03 SIGHT PROMISED FOR OBEDIENCE

HEARD: Strengthen and shore up her walls. It is necessary. Discipline takes its toll. I will help you. Shield up. Canopy over.

WORD TO PONDER SHORE UP YOUR WALLS 12/15/03

Precious one, My discipline in your life has taken its toll upon your faith. Now that you have chosen to totally devote to Me that which was running away, I want to recover and strengthen you.

Be comforted that as you have totally yielded to Me, you are quite safe. Standing before you is a large shield, raised from the ground to heaven. Standing behind you is a tall warring angel to cover your backside. Directly over your head is a large canopy. This is your home, like a tent, only this booth is a rock solid fortress, and even better. The better part is that I have safely tucked you into this rock crevis. This is in the crevis of my arm, right next My heart. You are safely shielded from the heat, dear one.

And now as you have earnestly prayed to receive a promotion in your seeing gifts, I AM preparing a new pair of glasses for you. You shall see things as they really are. Rejoice for that which was lame is now put back into joint.

Heb 12:11-13 AMP

For the time being no discipline brings joy, but seems grievous and painful; but afterwards it yields a peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it [a harvest of fruit which consists in righteousness--in conformity to God's will in purpose, thought, and action, resulting in right living and right standing with God] So then, brace up and reinvigorate and set right your slackened and weakened and drooping hands and strengthen your feeble and palsied and tottering knees, [Isa 35:3.]And cut through and make firm and plain and smooth, straight paths for your feet [yes, make them safe and upright and happy paths that go in the right direction], so that the lame and halting [limbs] may not be put out of joint, but rather may be cured.
