RHEMA 12/04/02 STANDING IN FAITH

HEARD: Stronger. In the power of His might. Fighting the good fight of faith.

Eph 6:10-18 KJV

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

HEARD: His jubilee. You have Words over it. For I know the plans I have for you, to give you a future and a hope.

Jer 29:11 KJV

11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Jer 29:10-14 NLT

11 For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12 In those days when you pray, I will listen. 13 If you look for me in earnest, you will find me when you seek me. 14 I will be found by you," says the LORD. "I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and bring you home again to your own land."

HEARD: To break the yoke.

QUICKENED SIGN: Today while walking at the mall I saw a huge bear sleeping on the mattress, in the shop where we bought the day bed. The Lord has been talking to me all year about resting in Him. The way to rest is to fear the Lord, for when you fear Him, you are living to please Him and no longer striving.

Heb 4:9-11 KJV

There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. 11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

WORD TO PONDER LEARNING TO STAND IN THE POWER OF MY MIGHT 12/4/02

You may feel as though you have been tossed upside down by evil storms, but I want you to know that I am pleased with you! There are many ways to overcome the evil one and above all, your shield of faith has grown strong and enduring. You are fighting the good fight of faith and I AM well pleased with your stand.

In this process of abiding faith, you are learning what it means to fear the Lord. It is better to fear Me then the devil. If you live to please Me, then you have nothing to fear, for divine restraints are put into place and nothing touches you except through My loving mercy and compassion. It is in the knowledge of the fear of the Lord that your faith can finally come to rest. What does it mean to fear Me? It means to really know that I AM Boss and I mean what I say and I do what I promise.

RHEMA 12/02/02 YOUR FAITH IS A GIFT FROM ME

HEARD: And He came down to listen to the sons of men. My faith. Whose faith? It's yours, I gave it to you.

Heb 11:1-2 NLT

What is faith? It is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen. It is the evidence of things we cannot yet see. God gave his approval to people in days of old because of their faith.

Eph 2:8-9 NKJV

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Rom 10:17 NKJV

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

WORD TO PONDER YOUR FAITH IS A GIFT 12/02/02

Little one, you concern yourself about whether or not you have enough faith. This is not something that you trump up and gather for yourself. I alone AM the Author and Finisher of your faith. What you have is a gift from Me, and I not only gave you the portion you have, but I AM the One building it within you and I will complete My work as well.
