STOP,
LOOK, LISTEN 3/12/10
Heard: I do
not know what to do.
When I
heard that, immediately I clicked on the next lesson in
line as I was working on files. I did not know what
file it would be and it was:
Lesson: Stop,
Take Time. Ponder, Listen
Wayne heard:
stop, look, listen 2 days ago. He prayed that
phrase over our nation today!

Oh my goodness Sandy,
I forgot that I saw this the other day..... a grocery
store ad came and I felt it was a word for you!

Ad from paper
There was a picture of a beautiful baby crawling.
The headline said "The Clock is Ticking"
The type said: From rolling over to crawling and
walking, where does the time go? Take time out each day
to relax and enjoy your baby. And be sure not to miss
this chance to stock up on items you'll use very day.
PARABLE: We have a brand
new stop sign in our neighborhood. This is so hard to
change a 33 year habit. After living with the grace of
a free right turn where all other traffic stops, they
changed the sign to STOP.
Hearing God on any level of life
and spirituality, takes the effort to stop, look and
listen. If there is something that draws your
attention, like when Moses was curious about a bush that
was burning, let that be a cue to change your focus and
ponder it on a spiritual level.
God speaks to us through everything
in life, and when He speaks, it is personal. If
something is quickened to you, stop and ask the Lord
why. Ponder its deeper meaning as to how it applies to
your life. If you take the time to draw aside and
listen, the Lord will see and speak to you from within
its midst.
Ex 3:4 NKJV
Now Moses was tending the flock
of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And
he led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to
Horeb, the mountain of God. And the Angel of the LORD
appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a
bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning
with fire, but the bush was not consumed. Then Moses
said, "I will now turn aside and see this great sight,
why the bush does not burn." So when the LORD saw that
he turned aside to look, God called to him from the
midst of the bush and said, "Moses , Moses !" And he
said, "Here I am." |
