RHEMA 2/04/09  STUMPS, I WILL MAKE IT UP TO YOU

VISION:  I saw a bunch of marathon runners, running together as a group.  

HEARD:  I gave them the same page.  Together.  A life without glitches?  What do you want Me to say?  I’ll make it up to you.  Hurled.

VISION:  I saw something being hurled at a cut down stump.

HEARD:  Protected.  You are not left or abandoned.  Adopted. 

Job 14:7-9 NKJV 

"For there is hope for a tree,  If it is cut down, that it will sprout again,  And that its tender shoots will not cease.  Though its root may grow old in the earth,  And its stump may die in the ground,  Yet at the scent of water it will bud   And bring forth branches like a plant.

I received the following note from a reader today:

We have been receiving your emails for several years and continue to be amazed at the timing of the words, as well as the confirmation and encouragement that they bring.

We have been going through quite a season of transition as a family over the last several years and tonight had read through your website journals on "transition". After sharing much of what was there with my wife and son, we clicked on "Return to most recent posts" and were amazed at the heading staring at us: "Stumps, I will make it up to you".... We had just had a significant breakthrough on Friday as a family!

You see, our family name just happens to be "Stump". Just the subject line did more to encourage us than anything else could have tonight!! Our 16 year old son was touched as well by the goodness of the Lord. This spoke to us very personally.
