RHEMA
10/18/13 THE MYSTERY OF SUPPLY AND DEMAND
HEARD:
Fellowship rhema. Baby steps. There is a
tiny part of me that wants to know things. I don’t know
what I will find. I do have curiosity.
PIX:
I saw a banner that said Search options.
HEARD:
So what are the ways? Ways God speaks.
HEARD:
Rhema. He makes the secrets revealed. I
am waiting for You to reveal truth with me. I AM
waiting for you to walk with Me, says the Lord.
PARABLE: A popup turned on my computer that
said, “A script is causing Adobe flash player to run
slowly.”
COMMENTS: All month long the Lord has been
talking to me about evaluating people’s level of
appetite – their hunger for God. Our level of need for
drawing from His breast directly affects the volume of
heavenly milk that is sent.
Every breastfeeding Mom knows that their milk production
totally depends upon the appetite of the baby. When the
baby slows down, the milk production slows, and when the
baby increases its demand, the milk supply increases.
For a mom, there is nothing worse than having too much
milk and a baby who wont sup. It is called engorgement,
misery, fever and infection for the mother. And when
the baby weans, the mother’s milk dries up. This is
true in the animal world also.
Scripture tells us to love God with all of our hearts,
put Him first and seek Him first, so that He is our
first love. In the last days it says the love of many
shall wax cold. (Matt 22:37; Matt 6:33; Matt 24:12)
This is all connected with the level of our spiritual
appetite for Him, His kingdom and the things of God.
EXCERPT APPETITE INSERTS
RHEMA 10/01/13 BREAK FREE TO UNDERSTAND
I saw something go down a children’s slide and was
reminded of the ladders in heaven and things coming down
to us. Baby. Not understanding the language of God.
Break free.
RHEMA 10/14/13 ILLITERATE
Not able to stand up on your own. At the dinner
table. Isnt that better to know? Illiterate. Blind.
RHEMA 10/15/13 SLOW APPETITE FOR GOD
Appetite. It starts somewhere right about where they
left off.

RHEMA 10/17/13 SLOW APPETITE
Appetite, a very real concern. Do not be afraid.
Courageous.
CONFIRMATION UPDATE 10/25/13: I attended an out
of town healing meeting into an area where he mentioned
the meeting was to test the level of hunger (appetite)
and desperation for healing and miracles in the USA and
west coast.
There is a divine tension between the flow of the
anointing within ministers and the need and faith of the
people. There are some audiences that are so hungry,
the minister can be totally dry, but by the people’s
faith and need alone, it draws the seeds out of the
minister and the anointing flows. There are other times
when the minister is so full and overflowing that even
those with little faith receive a bounty. Finally there
are Sovereign moves of God, where He alone carries a
meeting and the heavens are rent and He comes down.
Before a tsunami wave hits, the waters along the
shoreline pull back. That is what has been happening in
the Spirit, where He has pulled back and asked … are you
hungry? Are you thirsty? Do you want more? Do you
have enough? Where are your boundaries? Do you want Me
to break through?
PROMISES FOR THE THIRSTY
Those who are thirsty and longing for God have His
assurance they will be filled.
Psalms 63:1-2 O God, you are my God; early will I
seek you: my soul thirsts for you, my flesh longs for
you in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; 2 To
see your power and your glory, so as I have seen you in
the sanctuary.
Psalms 143:5-8 I remember the days of old; I meditate
on all your works; I ponder on the work of your hands. 6
I stretch forth my hands unto you: my soul thirsts after
you, as a thirsty land. Selah. 7 Hear me speedily, O
LORD: my spirit fails: hide not your face from me, lest
I be like unto them that go down into the pit. 8 Cause
me to hear your lovingkindness in the morning; for in
you do I trust: cause me to know the way in which I
should walk; for I lift up my soul unto you.
Proverbs 25:25 As cold water is to a thirsty soul, so
is good news from a far country.
Isaiah 44:3 For I will pour water upon him that is
thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my
spirit upon your descendants, and my blessing upon your
offspring:
Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they who do hunger and thirst
after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
GETTING IN SYNCH
The law of supply and demand does have difficulties
getting in synch. Heaven wants to pour out everything
and yet our capacity to receive is too small. He has
been stretching and enlarging the hearts of the people
to grow hungry and receive more of Him.
Isaiah 64:1 Oh that you would rend the heavens, that
you would come down, that the mountains might flow down
at your presence.
Psalms 119:32 I will run the way of your
commandments, when you shall enlarge my heart.
HINDRANCES AGAINST HEARING GOD
Carnality – Some are lovers of
unrighteousness and yet want to be friends with God.
Friendship with the world causes people’s love to wax
cold for God.
Matthew 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the
love of many shall grow cold.
Hopelessness – Some have hearts that have grown
sick with delay and have lost hope in the desiring
process.
Proverbs 13:12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick:
but when the desire is fulfilled, it is a tree of life.
Independence – Some are no longer clinging to
God for their financial, emotional, mental and spiritual
needs.
Revelation 3:15-19 I know your works, that you are
neither cold nor hot: I would that you were cold or hot.
16 So then because you are lukewarm, and neither cold
nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth. 17 Because you
say, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need
of nothing; and know not that you are wretched, and
miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18 I counsel
you to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that you may be
rich; and white clothing, that you may be clothed, and
that the shame of your nakedness does not appear; and
anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. 19 As
many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous
therefore, and repent.
Pride – Some walk proudly arrogant and God
resists them.
Amos 8:7; 11-13 The LORD has sworn by the pride of
Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works…
…Behold, the days come, says the Lord GOD, that I will
send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a
thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the
north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to
seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it. 13 In
that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for
thirst.
James 4:6 But he gives more grace. Therefore he says,
God resists the proud, but gives grace unto the humble.
Rebellion – Some walk in bitter disobedience and
they have come under the judgment of God, where they are
given over to calloused hearts so they do not see or
hear.
Ezekiel 12:2 Son of man, you dwell in the midst of a
rebellious house, who have eyes to see, and see not;
they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a
rebellious house.
Matthew 13:14-15 And in them is fulfilled the
prophecy of Isaiah, who said, By hearing you shall hear,
and shall not understand; and seeing you shall see, and
shall not perceive: 15 For this people's heart has
become gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and
their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they
should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and
should understand with their heart, and should be
converted, and I should heal them.
Misaligned Mouth and Heart – Some draw near to
Him with their mouth, but their hearts are not close to
Him at all. Therefore they are given over to a spirit
of slumber.
Isaiah 29:8-13 It shall even be as when a hungry man
dreams, and, behold, he eats; but he awakes, and his
soul is empty: or as when a thirsty man dreams, and,
behold, he drinks; but he awakes, and, behold, he is
faint, and his soul has appetite: so shall the multitude
of all the nations be, that fight against mount Zion. 9
Stop, and wonder; cry you out, and cry: they are
drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with
strong drink. 10 For the LORD has poured out upon you
the spirit of deep sleep, and has closed your eyes: the
prophets and your rulers, the seers has he covered. 11
And the vision of all has become unto you as the words
of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that
is learned, saying, Read this, I pray you: and he says,
I cannot; for it is sealed: 12 And the book is delivered
to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray
you: and he says, I am not learned. 13 Therefore the
Lord said, Since this people draw near me with their
mouth, and with their lips do honor me, but have removed
their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is
taught by the precept of men:
Faith – Some have been strongly tested in their
faith. He has been seeking for those whose hearts are
for Him and who have believed even though they have not
seen. He says, when I come will I find faith?
Luke 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them
speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man comes, shall
he find faith on the earth?
2 Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and
fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong
in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.
In this you have done foolishly: therefore from now on
you shall have wars.
John 20:29 Jesus said unto him, Thomas, because you
have seen me, you have believed: blessed are they that
have not seen, and yet have believed.
PRAYER: Father we ask that You will forgive us
for our calloused hearts where we have rebelliously
resisted Your Word. Forgive us for having an appetite
for the world more than You. Forgive us for being
independent and prideful and being apathetic towards
Your bountiful blessings. Thank You for drawing us,
wooing, calling us closer to You. Thank You for
increasing our level of hunger and desperation and thank
You for the promise that You will fill those who are
hungry for You. Your Word proclaims the righteous are
not hungry nor do they beg for bread. Let Your Word come
forth and pour out upon us oh Lord!
Psalms 107:9 For he satisfies the longing soul, and
fills the hungry soul with goodness.
Psalms 37:25 I have been young, and now am old; yet
have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his
offspring begging bread.
