RHEMA 11/05/11  TV DISOBEDIENCE IS NOT WORTH THE GAMBLE

HEARD:  Obedience.  Carnal TV.  It's not worth it.  Be careful.  I prepared you.

QUICKENED PARABLE:  I tipped over the New Skin bottle by my bed.  This was quickened to me that we can not enter into the new skin He has for us if we are still living in the old carnal skin.

WORD TO PONDER: TELEVISION PLUNDER, CAUSE AND EFFECT 2/18/96

Hold on to your hat, I am about to train you in matters that are not written with pen and ink. For years, you have leaned upon TV as a pain killer for stress, as a companion for fellowship, as a relief from boredom, as a form of carnal pleasure. To put it very clear, this is the family idol that life evolves around. This idol has opened a demonic door into your life and yet you think it is warfare and opposition. In reality, it is simply a matter of cause and effect. Through the worship of this idol, it has planted a seed in your life that is reaping a harvest of demonic plunder. Close the door. Close the door. Close the door.

How much do you want Me in your life? How far do you want to go for fellowship with Me? You have sacrificed everything, even precious relationships to give your time to the television. Are you willing to give Me your time? When you close the door through your own obedience to My Word and through your own self discipline, I will place a hedge around you that will close the demonic doors.

“Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members?2 You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously"? 6 But He gives more grace. NEW SKIN  8/11/08

Precious there comes a time when the old skin no longer fits.  If your fruit was to grow any larger, it would bust the old skin and it would not be able to contain it.  Shed the old life and bring only what is necessary and eternal with you. 

Yes it hurts to peel away the old self and it leaves you feeling naked and raw.  But I have comforted you and brought you through this.  You will land on your feet once again.  I have given you My kingdom keys with authority.  Use your daily portion as your allowance to spend.

Mark 2:21-22 NKJV

No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; or else the new piece pulls away from the old, and the tear is made worse.  And no one puts new wine into old wineskins ; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins , the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins ."

....I was quickened to your latest post due to the "New Skin" I was just reading an article today that went exactly along these lines...it was speaking of removing old dead skin to prepare for the new skin....I didn't think that much of it, but I have to say "I'm listening Now!!"

COMMENT:  The article was about the Lord's debridement of the body of Christ.  Debridement is a medical term used to describe removing dead, devitalized, or infected tissue from a patient to expose healthy, living tissue.

A friend once saw the Lord's hand take my skin and peel away the old skin to reveal painful, but fresh new skin underneath.  This person also told me to put on the skin grid to prophesy and become bold.

It is interesting that after a wound has had a chance to heal for a couple days, I have the habits of peeling the New Skin off.
