PARABLE:  TAKE A SECOND LOOK AND DIG DEEPER  10/17/07

HEARD: I am here to do your bidding.

FUNNY:  When I heard this, I knew it was an angel that was sent and available to do my bidding. I had already prayed this morning and was not sure what to do. I said, “Lord if there is something I need to pray about, please remind me.” Shortly after that, I discovered I could not find my cell phone. I called it and wandered the house to hear it ring but nothing surfaced. I asked the Holy Spirit to find what was lost.

Later as I was downloading some lovely fall photos from my camera to my computer I remembered hearing what this angel had said.  So I cried out to the Lord once again and said, “Lord You sent me an angel to help me find my cell phone! I loose this angel to go forth and find my cell phone in Jesus Name!”

I envisioned it going to all the places I had been yesterday and wondering what an angel does to help someone return a lost cell phone. I prayed more urgently and with faith knowing he was dispatched. At that exact moment a bleep, bleep alarm started on my camera and I saw that the batteries needed recharging. I had an extra one that I had tucked in my purse yesterday, so I DUG REALLY DEEP in my purse and found my cell phone!  I am still smiling, I think the angel went around the world and back on my prayers and came home to drain my camera battery.  (smile!)

Update 10/20/07  take a second look AND DIG DEEPER 

QUICKENED PARABLES:  Today I went shopping for a new purse and I am really picky about my purses, so it took me a long time to dig through the purses to find the right one. 

Tonight in the prayer room the Lord brought back the memory of the above post where I returned to my purse, dug really deep and I found my cell phone.

The Lord quickened to me that if we return to some Words that He has given us recently, and dig deeper, that He will reveal to us some hidden treasures that we did not see before.

CONFIRMATION:  Our associate pastor prayed tonight that we launch out into the deep and sound the deep.

WORD TO PONDER:  take a second look AND DIG DEEPER  10/20/07

Sometimes I want you to take a second look at something I have done into your life.  The enemy kills, steals and robs and this makes you worn out and weary in your labors.  I want abundance and goodness for you. 

Because of your sufferings, there are times when you have not caught on to what I intended from My goodness.  If you are willing to persist in your search for understanding, I will lead you deeper into the truths that are not readily available on the surface.  Return dear one in your search, launch out into the deep.  My good treasures are there waiting to be found.  Once in your grasp of understanding, you will know and feel things from a different perspective, things that you didn’t perceive when you were living through the circumstances.  I will reveal to you what I intended, and the good part that was not taken from you.  I will make manifest the lessons you learned that could not have been learned in other ways.  You will find that you knew Me in greater intimacy through your sufferings and have learned a portion of My love that is long suffering.  You will find that you knew My goodness and abundance even in the midst of painful labor.

Luke 5:4-7 NKJV

When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, "Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch."  But Simon answered and said to Him, "Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net." And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking.

HEARD;  When I typed the sentence, “I want abundance and goodness for you.”  I heard the Lord say AMEN!

COOL UPDATE:  10/21/07  Today I am catching up on typing a couple weeks of rhema and as usual I haven’t the foggiest idea what is going on until I listen to my mini recorder and type it all in.  For some reason I chose to type it in from the latest back to the earliest.  And after posting this Word about taking a second look about what the Lord has been saying, I am noticing several days this month where He introduced a simple subject and then on later days He dug deeper onto the same subject until I was getting into some good meat.
