2/12/19 THE LORD’S PEACE OF BEING TO BE “AT ONE”
I heard the phrase, not as the world gives.
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto
you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your
heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
WORD STUDY: It is interesting that this is the
LORD’S peace… the peace HE walked in, being “at one” with
the Father. His peace is not only having the ability to be
peaceful in quiet time resting (in contrast to being
agitated and fearful) but there is a sense of being one with
Him, that there is nothing between me and the Lord that
keeps us apart.
When I looked up the word world, I was reminded of
the emotional satisfaction of having one’s ducks set in a
row! I am smiling at this because yesterday I cleaned out
our dry storage closet, kitchen pantry and computer cupboard
and rearranged things to be in order once again! It gave me
great satisfaction! When I told Anna what I did that day,
she asked, Did that make you feel good?”

WORD TO PONDER THE PEACE OF BEING “AT ONE” WITH ME
2/12/19
Precious one, lay down all that unsettles your thoughts and
emotions and come to Me. I AM your peace. Come to Me and I
will give you rest. Simply spending time with Me will sooth
your soul. In returning and rest you shall be saved, in
quietness and confidence your strength shall return. Let
yourself sink into Me and be one with Me, My thoughts, My
heart and remember.
Yes there is some satisfaction in having your tasks and life
organized, but that will not cleanse you from worry or
issues that disturb your heart. As Solomon said, it is
better to have one hand full with quietness than both hands
full with toil. When I created the earth I had great
satisfaction and said it was good. But then I rested. Come
precious one, come!
John 14:27 (AMP) Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I
now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I
give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let
them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and
disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and
intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]
