WHAT STUMBLES YOUR FAITH
HEARD: What
are you tempted by? Lay it down, it’s not worth it. A
trust issue. Where your trust fails: in pleasing Me. I
give good gifts to My children. What is a good gift?
What looks like Me. Inside you know that.
PARABLE: THE PRINCESS AND THE PEA
Today I was in a sour mood about having such a sensitive
conscience and hearing what I did and realizing how
deeply it impacts my level of faith. I was eating lunch
and complaining to Wayne and one green pea fell down my
chest and got stuck under my blouse. I stood up and
pulled my blouse out to let the pea fall onto the
floor. When it plopped on the floor, both of us laughed
out loud. The Lord immediately reminded me of old rhema
about the princess and the pea and I saw that I was
wrestling with Him.
ANNA RHEMA 2/9/93: RESTING
PLACE
Princess. Pea. Rest standing up. … No shame.
Motives. Pure in My sight.
FROM THE WWW: THE PRINCESS AND THE PEA
A literary fairy tale by Hans
Christian Andersen about a young woman whose royal
identity is established by a test of her physical
sensitivity
The story tells of a prince who wants to marry a
princess, but is having difficulty finding a suitable
wife. Something is always wrong with those he meets, and
he cannot be certain they are real princesses because
they have bad table manners or they are too fat or thin
or not beautiful. One stormy night a young woman
drenched with rain seeks shelter in the prince's castle.
She claims to be a princess, so the prince's mother
decides to test their unexpected, unwitting guest by
placing a pea in the bed she is offered for the night,
covered by 20 mattresses and 20 feather-beds. In the
morning, the guest tells her hosts that she endured a
sleepless night, kept awake by something hard in the bed
that she is certain has bruised her. The prince
rejoices. Only a real princess would have the
sensitivity to feel a pea through such a quantity of
bedding, so the two are married.
The story ends with the pea being placed in a museum,
where according to the
storyteller it can still be seen today, unless someone
has removed it.
WORD TO PONDER: THE PRINCESS AND THE PEA 11/01/16
Beloved, each increase along your path has been to bring
your conscience back to life. Yes, it has been a long
journey since your childhood of learning the difference
between right and wrong and becoming sensitive to the
realms of My Spirit along with understanding what
grieves Me and what passes inspection. I separate
everything between soul and spirit and make a clear
distinction of thoughts and intents. As My Spirit
spotlights these things, each inkling you have of
something not aligned is an invitation to lay it down.
Dear heart, don’t let these inklings become stumbling
stones that shipwreck your faith!
Consider the peas in your life! Yes, like the princess
and the pea story, I want My bride to be so sensitive to
My heart that she would feel even one tiny pea inside
her resting place with Me. The peace I give is like a
barometer to your soul. When you wrestle to find your
resting place in Me, ask My help to identify exactly
what you are wrestling over. It may be something very
tiny in the grand scale of things, but it will become
monumental until it is removed from your life. Search
for the pea and let it go dear one!
Hebrews 4:11-16 Let us labor
therefore to enter into that
rest, lest any man fall after the same example of
unbelief. 12 For the word of God is living, and
powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing
even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of
the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the
thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 Neither is there
any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all
things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with
whom we have to do. 14 Seeing
then that we have a great high priest, that is passed
into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast
our profession. 15 For we have not a high priest who
cannot be touched with the feeling of our weaknesses;
but was in all points tempted like we are, yet without
sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of
grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help
in time of need.
CONFIRMATION: Right after posting this one, I
turned to the following Word to Ponder and I knew
the Lord was still speaking about this topic:
WHEN I
SHINE LIGHT UPON YOUR HEART
Beloved, I
AM light, and it brings Me much pleasure when you
openly bare your heart to Me. I have been raining
water on both your wheat and tares and they have
been coming up together inside your heart. When
harvest comes, I shine My light upon the tare and
you feel overwhelmed to see the full fruit of it
yourself, so big, so overpowering and so ugly. I
feel your pain inside and desire to pull it up from
its very roots. And again I say how much it means to
Me when you do not shrink away from the full
manifestation and knowledge of what you see. Those
that love My light, do what is right and come into
My light gladly.
My precious
one, I do not want you to feel ashamed. Your
nakedness is covered for I have covered you with My
mercy and My blood. Try to look beyond this moment
of truth and remember that I saw all of these things
BEFORE you were born. And I chose YOU, My precious
one. I chose you to be My very own. I am not ashamed
of you, I LOVE YOU. Thank you for openly baring your
heart to Me and offering up that which does not
belong in your life. I will never abandon you in the
process, but instead complete My good work in you.
John
3:20-21 NLT
They hate the light because they want to sin in the
darkness. They stay away from the light for fear
their sins will be exposed and they will be
punished. 21 But those who do what is right come to
the light gladly,
Ps
139:23-24 NKJV
Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and
know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked
way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.
1 John
1:10 NKJV
This is the message which we have heard from Him and
declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no
darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship
with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not
practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as
He is in the light, we have fellowship with one
another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son
cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no
sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in
us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just
to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned,
we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.
