RHEMA 3/15/13 THE WARNING OF THE OLD STUMP
VISION: I saw a large mansized
backpack and someone was putting it
on his back.
HEARD: Do you want to wash it? Do you want
to watch it?
[I understood this was related to ensnaring weight (Heb
12:1) in what someone was watching on TV. Those who
fellowship with darkness are not walking in the fear of
the Lord and they will be washed.]
Rev 7:14
And I said to him, " Sir, you know." So he said to
me, " These are the ones who come out of the great
tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white
in the blood of the Lamb.
VISION: I saw someone say, "That's not my
choice." The person came up to a massive tree trunk and
leaned up against it as though to yearn over and lean
against it for assurance and stability. I have never
seen a tree trunk so massive and old and it was such an
unusual shape and appearance. This scripture came to me
as I saw the stump, and I wondered if this tree stump
was 2000 years old and it represented Jesus' life cut
off, and His sons will be His branches that bring forth
branches.
Job 14:7-9
"For there is hope for a tree, If it is cut down,
that it will sprout again, and that its tender shoots
will not cease. Though its root may grow old in the
earth, and its stump may die in the ground, Yet at the
scent of water it will bud and bring forth branches like
a plant.
Isa 11:1
There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse,
and a Branch shall grow out of his roots.
UPDATE CONFIRMATION 3/18/13 - I am very careful
about what I allow myself to watch on TV. I often find
animal documentaries that are really good. I was
watching a documentary and was shocked to see the exact
tree! I had no idea there were trees like it, and so I
was very interested to hear what was to be said.
The tree
is called a Boabab tree and sometimes it has the
nickname of “the tree of life” due to its longevity.
They grow to over 1,000 – 2,000 years old, and there is
one with the carbon dating of 6000 years old that is 72
feet tall and a 155 foot circumference. They store a
massive amount of water inside them, which can be
tapped. They are drought tolerant to a severe level and
that is one of the reasons they live so long.
In the documentary there was a region in Africa where
all these old, old trees were dying. It was so sad to
see them because it was barren dust everywhere with no
water. The thirsty elephants would bore their husks
into the trunks and drink from them.
The investigators did not want to cut into a live tree
to find out what was wrong, but once a tree fell over,
it was a few short days and all of the wood changed into
fiber threads so they were not able to test them. They
were notified of another tree that had just fallen, and
so they rushed to find the tree and cut through the
trunk. They were able to investigate all the rings and
go backward in time. It was very obvious that when the
trees were planted in ages past, the earth was very,
very moist and has been gradually drying throughout the
ages.
I was left with the sobering impact that these old
giants proved that the earth has been going through
stages of increasing famine for generations.
INCREASING LEVELS OF JUDGMENT LISTED
[Famine is level 7.
I could not help but shudder as I read this list of
increasing judgment, when in view of the unfolding book
of Revelation.]
Lev 26:12-39
I will walk among you and be your God, and you shall
be My people. 13 I am the Lord your God, who brought
you out of the land of Egypt, that you should not be
their slaves; I have broken the bands of your yoke and
made you walk upright.
14 "But if you do
not obey Me, and do not observe all these
commandments, 15 and if you despise My statutes, or if
your soul abhors My judgments, so that you do not
perform all My commandments, but break My covenant, 16
I also will do this
to you:
1. I will even appoint terror over you
2. wasting disease and fever
3. you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies
shall eat it
4. you shall be defeated by your enemies. Those who
hate you shall reign over you, and you shall flee when
no one pursues you.
18 "And after all this, if you do not obey Me, then I
will punish you seven times more for your sins.
5. I will break the pride of your power;
6. I will make your heavens like iron and your earth
like bronze.
7. And your
strength shall be spent in vain; for your land shall not
yield its produce, nor shall the trees of the land yield
their fruit.
21 "Then, if you walk contrary to Me, and are not
willing to obey Me,
8. seven times more plagues, according to your sins.
9. I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall
rob you of your children, destroy your livestock, and
make you few in number; and your highways shall be
desolate.
23 "And if by these things you are not reformed by
Me, but walk contrary to Me, 24 then I also will walk
contrary to you, and I will punish you yet seven times
for your sins.
10. I will bring a sword against you that will execute
the vengeance of the covenant;
11. I will send pestilence among you;
12. you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
13. cut off your supply of bread, ten women shall bake
your bread in one oven, and they shall bring back your
bread by weight, and you shall eat and not be
satisfied.
27 "And after all this, if you do not obey Me, but
walk contrary to Me, 28 then I also will walk contrary
to you in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven
times for your sins.
14. You shall eat the flesh of your sons, and you shall
eat the flesh of your daughters.
15. I will destroy your high places, cut down your
incense altars, and cast your carcasses on the lifeless
forms of your idols; and My soul shall abhor you.
16. I will lay your cities waste and bring your
sanctuaries to desolation, and I will not smell the
fragrance of your sweet aromas.
17. I will bring the land to desolation, and your
enemies who dwell in it shall be astonished at it.
18. I will scatter you among the nations and draw out a
sword after you;
19. your land shall be desolate and your cities waste.
34 Then the land shall enjoy its sabbaths as long as
it lies desolate and you are in your enemies ' land;
then the land shall rest and enjoy its sabbaths. 35 As
long as it lies desolate it shall rest — for the time it
did not rest on your sabbaths when you dwelt in it. 36
"And as for those of you who are left,
20. I will send faintness into their hearts in the
lands of their enemies; the sound of a shaken leaf shall
cause them to flee; they shall flee as though fleeing
from a sword, and they shall fall when no one pursues.
37 They shall stumble over one another, as it were
before a sword, when no one pursues; and you shall have
no power to stand before your enemies.
21. You shall perish among the nations, and the land of
your enemies shall eat you up. 22. And those of you who
are left shall waste away in their iniquity in your
enemies ' lands; also in their fathers ' iniquities,
which are with them, they shall waste away.
PARABLE 3/18/13: Today I complained to a
software company about an injustice to what I had paid
for, and the CEO listened and the Lord answered my
prayer! When the CEO wrote back, he sent me a photo of
a huge elephant with a banner that said, “Even the
elephant complained.” I was shocked since I have
so much rhema about elephants being intercessors, the
burden bearers… and I immediately remembered the
documentary of seeing those poor elephants banging into
the Boabab trees to find water.
HEARD
3/19/13: Climate. Documentary. It’s a
sign. Drought.
PRAYER: Lord we as Your righteous remnant see
the signs in the earth - that it is groaning under the
weight of sin! How we groan along with it to be
redeemed from the bondage of corruption! Forgive us for
lawlessness, murder, sexual sin, idolatry and
disobedience to scripture. Forgive us for voting for
leaders who stand for such wickedness. Forgive us Lord
for fellowshipping with the world’s values and supping
at their table via entertainment. Forgive us for
pushing You out of our schools, government, society and
not honoring Your Word. Lord we sigh and grieve over
the decline of morality.
Although we are not worthy, we ask for Your mercy, that
You will turn us again. We ask that You will liberally
pour Your salt out upon all Your people and that we will
in turn salt the earth. Father send forth Your rain!
Without the rain of our Spirit, we perish! We are
groaning Lord for Your promised rain. Come Holy Spirit,
You are welcome among us! Give us Your power to overcome
and power to stand in loving obedience and say no to the
world and no to sin. In Jesus Name.
