TIME IN
A BOTTLE
[Our
Deepest Wishes Are Collected in His Bottle]
HEARD
[1/03/05] Intercession. Did I mention that I love you? A
standing ovation. Intercession groan. How can I help
you? Things have been very tough on you. Beneath you a
100%.
VISION:
A friend received this vision while in prayer for me and
sent it to me today: "I saw a green wine bottle turned
on its side with a cork in it. The neck of the bottle
was pointed to the left. It was empty of wine, but had a
paper note inside rolled up."
INTERPRETATION: This vision had meaning to me because
when I turned all of my son's scrapbooks into a
condensed computer generated family album, one of my
favorites pages was called, Time in a Bottle.
In the
photo, my son and his bride-to-be were sitting on a
bench at the beach and they were holding a green bottle.
It was empty with a cork and the bottle was on its side.
Inside they had placed a rolled up piece of paper with a
message. I named the page Time in a Bottle because I
knew the piece of paper was significant as a message of
a snapshot of time. After they took the photo, they
climbed out on the rocks and found a perfect place to
throw the bottle into the deep water.
As I
looked at the next photo of them tossing the bottle, the
Holy Spirit brought this scripture to mind: "Cast your
bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many
days." (Eccl 11:1 NKJV)
After I
received the vision in an email, I called my son and
asked him what they had written in the bottle. I felt
that it would be significant. He said that they told
whoever found the bottle, they were praying for that
person and they included a scripture about the sea.
In high
school, I once wrote a proverb and decoupaged it onto a
hunk of redwood and hung it on the wall. It said, "A
prayer is simply love entrusted to Jesus, which is then
given to that person in the best form possible."

CONFIRMATIONS UPDATE: Only a few days later I was
watching ice dancing on TV and the Lord alerted me to
the fact that the man was ice skating to the old song,
Time in a Bottle. I had forgotten there was an old song
with the title when I titled my son's scrapbook page. I
felt quickened to find the words to the song. When I
read the words, it was extra special to me because my
friend who sent me the vision, sent it to me on the day
of my 29th anniversary.
Ps
56:8-13 NKJV
You
number my wanderings; Put my tears into Your bottle ;
Are they not in Your book? When I cry out to You, Then
my enemies will turn back; This I know, because God is
for me. In God (I will praise His word), In the LORD (I
will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I
will not be afraid. What can man do to me? Vows made to
You are binding upon me, O God; I will render praises to
You, For You have delivered my soul from death. Have You
not kept my feet from falling, That I may walk before
God In the light of the living?

If I
could save time in a bottle
The
first thing that I'd like to do
Is to
save every day
Till
Eternity passes away
Just to
spend them with you.
If I
could make days last forever,
If words
could make wishes come true,
I'd save
every day like a treasure and then,
Again, I
would spend them with you.
But
there never seems to be enough time
To do
the things you want to do.
Once you
find them
I've
looked around enough to know
That
you're the one I want to go
Through
time with.
If I had
a box just for wishes
And
dreams that had never come true.
The box
would be empty
Except
for the memory
Of how
they were answered by you.
But
there never seems to be enough time
To do
the things you want to do.
Once you
find them
I've
looked around enough to know
That
you're the one I want to go
Through
time with.

WORD TO
PONDER: TIME IN A BOTTLE 1/03/05
My
Beloved, I have saved your time in a bottle and recorded
all your journey. I treasured every step you took in
your pursuit to overcome and be with Me. All your tears,
all your smiles, all your rabbit trails and all your
bull's eyed targets are all numbered. Each a treasure,
safely tucked away in the deep recesses of My heart. How
I cherish your innocent trust in Me, My Beloved.
Like a
bottle tossed into the sea, you cast your prayers upon
the waters of life and waited for the return of your
harvest. In those lost and lonely times when you saw no
return and continued to span the horizon, you did not
give up hope. You waited as an innocent child while I
found your bottle and held your heart in safe keeping as
you continued to hold onto your faith. I AM your High
Priest Who has been touched by your deepest wishes. I
have prayed you through your darkest hours during your
time of waiting, and I understand those things you
carefully tucked inside the bottle. When I think of
earthly time and eternity, I think of spending it with
you, My bride.
