RHEMA 10/28/09 TO PRESS
INTO JESUS
QUICKENED “WORD”:
This morning Wayne shared the 4 points in a sermon he
heard last night and when he mentioned the lady with the
issue of blood, the word PRESS was quickened to
me. She had to PRESS IN to reach Jesus.
Mark 3:10-11 NKJV
For He healed many, so
that as many as had afflictions pressed about Him
to touch Him.
Mark 5:27-29 NKJV
When she had heard of
Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his
garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes,
I shall be whole.
And straightway the
fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her
body that she was healed of that plague.
2 Cor 4:8-10 NKJV
We are hard-pressed
on every side, yet not crushed ; we are perplexed, but
not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck
down, but not destroyed — 10 always carrying about in
the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of
Jesus also may be manifested in our body.
CONFIRMATION: This afternoon, someone responded
to the following message that came out in the QW elist
this week:
From Tao's message:
Scene3: I picked my son Samuel in school and drove him
back home. On our way home Samuel held the remote
control of our home’s garage door in his hands. As we
drove to a certain place in our community, he wanted to
press the remote control to open the door of
garage. As I saw him do that, immediately I told him the
door couldn’t be opened because you pressed the
remote control too early. Then I continued driving for a
short while, as we were near the garage door, I spoke to
Samuel that now was the time for you to press it
and the door would be opened for us. He did as I
instructed him to do and the door opened.
She said, “Yesterday I pressed my remote and it
didn't open my garage door, I pressed it again,
NOTHING. Finally I heard, "press it longer" I
did and the garage door opened.”
MORE CONFIRMATIONS: Tonight’s QW post had the
word PRESS in it twice. Here is a portion of
that post:
QUICKENED MEMORY: The word “buy” was quickened
to me because when we buy, it costs us something. I
wondered what scripture had the word “buy” in it and the
following came to mind.
Isa 55:5 NKJV
Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters ;And you
who have no money, come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy
wine and milk without money and without price. 2 Why do
you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages
for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and
eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in
abundance. 3 Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and
your soul shall live; And I will make an everlasting
covenant with you — The sure mercies of David. 4 Indeed
I have given him as a witness to the people, A leader
and commander for the people. 5 Surely you shall call a
nation you do not know, And nations who do not know you
shall run to you, Because of the LORD your God, And the
Holy One of Israel; For He has glorified you."
Bob Jones prophesied that 2009 would be a year of hard
plowing. I have found this true in praying the Lord
would fill our family table with His Bread. When I
finish harvesting a month of rhema, I am so relieved and
blessed by the Words He gives to us, but some months are
really hard work. It is not always that way, but I have
felt the load more the last couple months. It has
been hard plowing in time, effort and pressing into the
Lord.
WORD TO PONDER: LABOR AND BUY WHAT ENDURES 6/03/09
Yes beloved one, sometimes it feels like you are
fighting against spiritual famine and you have to work
harder for bread. Yes I did say to pray for daily bread
and sometimes prayer is laborious. My promise is daily
Bread, so do not let your daily portion be stolen. Even
if you were to expend all your efforts into obtaining
your Bread from heaven, wouldn’t that be worth such
value? My Bread endures through out all eternity.
You will find that the more you abide IN Me, the more
you will sense and realize you are totally encompassed
by My Bread. Sometimes the “dot” of your perspective is
so small that you do not see the whole. Ask that I
widen your perceptions and enlarge your heart so that
you will receive the fullness of what is available.
Press in, for My true
fullness is coming and it is beyond what you could ever
imagine or think. Blessed are you who hunger, for you
shall be filled.
Matt 6:9-11 NKJV
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your
kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in
heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
Luke 6:21 NKJV
Blessed are you who hunger now, for you shall be
filled .
PRAYER:
Lord we have been through quite a pressing from
every side. Never-the-less, we are not giving up. We
are pressing through the pressures to
reach You, our Beloved, our Deliverer. Thank You that
even though we squeeze through tight places, You have
protected our way and we are not forsaken, but carefully
watched. We choose to press in to You and not
let go. We choose to press in through the
crowd. If we can but touch the hem of Your garment, we
know Your virtue will flow.
Mark 5:27-30 KJV
When she had heard of
Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his
garment. 28 For she said, If I may touch but his
clothes, I shall be whole.
29 And straightway the
fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her
body that she was healed of that plague. 30 And Jesus,
immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out
of him, turned him about in the press, and said,
Who touched my clothes?
PRECIOUS CONFIRMATION:
After I wrote this post, I wondered where to put it on
the forum. I typed in the word Press and the
following was the first one I came to. I was SO blessed
to read the above post. That is exactly where we are
now. We need to press through to Jesus.
RHEMA 3/23/08 PRESSING THROUGH
VISION: I saw a female and her arm and hand were above
her head as she was walking. Someone much taller was
bracing her and pulling her back up from a leaning
forward position.
I do the same thing with my grandson when we are walking
together. He may be pressing forward and lose his
balance, and so my hand is there to stabilize him as he
walks and presses forward.
HEARD: Walka walka. This is standing. I believe.
Thirsty. To touch the hem of His garment. Do not be
afraid. This is the time to advance and move forward by
faith.
WORD TO PONDER: PRESSING THROUGH 3/23/08
After a time of waiting upon Me and crawling at a
snail’s pace with each advancement, I AM picking you up
and bringing you into a new position and alignment. I
need you to press in and I will stabilize you through
this transition. Arise! Stand up and move. Press through
the crowded distractions, right into what I have called
you to do. When your faith connects with Me, just one
touch will give you all that you need.
Matt 14:35-36 NKJV
And when the men of that place recognized Him, they sent
out into all that surrounding region, brought to Him all
who were sick, and begged Him that they might only touch
the hem of His garment. And as many as touched it were
made perfectly well.
Matt 9:20-22 NKJV
And suddenly, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve
years came from behind and touched the hem of His
garment. For she said to herself, "If only I may touch
His garment, I shall be made well." But Jesus turned
around, and when He saw her He said, "Be of good cheer,
daughter; your faith has made you well." And the woman
was made well from that hour.
