THE DOOR OF THE PORTHOLE OPENS,
THEY EAT WITH DADDY
When people receive the gift of speaking in tongues, not
everyone receives in the same way. For myself, I went to
kids camp in my teens and was prayed over to receive
what they called the “Baptism of the Holy Spirit” (Acts
1:5) I was supposed to feel the Holy Spirit come upon
me, then speak in tongues. I felt nothing when they
prayed. I was expecting some bolt of lightening to come
down from the sky and hit me in a whoosh of the Holy
Spirit. But they simply prayed, and I simply thanked
Jesus like they told me to do.
However, an hour later as I lay in my bunk bed, little
foreign sounding syllables popped into my mind. So, I
spoke them with my head under the pillow. It was one
sentence. My counselor told me that could happen, and to
be faithful to practice my new language and it would
grow. So that is what I did. I spoke my one sentence
faithfully for about a year! To this day, I still
remember that sentence.
Then one day I was driving to school singing a popular
love song along with the radio, and the second verse was
sung in French. So I started singing my own pretend
“French” to the words. By the end of the song, I had a
complete and wonderful language, only I didn’t know it!
However, every time I sang that song I would sing it in
my “pretend language” even when they were singing in
English. It sounded so beautiful I didn’t want to sing
it in English. Then one day I started singing other
popular love songs of the day in the same way. Then the
realization hit me, I was doing what the Bible called
“singing in the Spirit”! (1 Corinthians 14:15) “Wow! Is
this finally the expansion of my new language?” So I
stopped singing and just spoke it. Sure enough, there
was a full blown language!
I have received a couple of wonderful confirmations
about speaking in tongues. One time I was praying in
tongues and in English over people I’d met on the
Internet and I saw a picture-vision of a flat bed truck
driven by 2 angels. On the flat bed truck were a whole
bunch of packages, each wrapped and looking exactly like
the size of bricks. The Lord told me I was dispatching
supplies. So I asked Him what those bricks were. He
said, “Each individual prayer.” Then a few days later I
listened to a tape where a man was given a vision that
every time he spoke in tongues, he saw packages the size
of bricks come down from heaven that were deposited
inside of him. When they were deposited, he felt a
strengthening of his inner man. He was praying supplies
for himself. So, not only did the Lord confirm that my
praying in tongues was praying in supplies to others,
but at the same time, I was praying in supplies for
myself.
I have an interesting story about praying in supplies
for others. Remember that one little sentence I
mentioned when I first received tongues? When I shared
it with Anna, my Mom, who also had been indoctrinated
against tongues, she said it sounded like Spanish and
looked it up in her Spanish dictionary. She was so
surprised at the meaning, she also sought and received
the Baptism of the Spirit.
Twenty-five years after that, having completely
forgotten its meaning, Anna happened to ask me if I
still remembered my one little sentence. I spoke what I
remembered and she again looked up the words in her old
Spanish dictionary, and this is what she found; my
sentence was translated, “Door of a port hole released.
They eat with Daddy.” This was my commission from the
beginning which birthed my book, 101 Ways God Speaks and
How God Speaks. I didn’t know I was repeating a request
thousands upon thousands of times. I was bombarding
heaven and didn’t even know it! I believe part of that
fulfillment is the opened doors to a website ministry
and also a writing ministry. It is a good lesson in the
importance of tongues.

PORTHOLE TO HEAVEN
PIX: Wayne saw a picture
of a wide flat plain with a porch and a door there, way
out in the middle of nowhere. I thought the dry flat
plain was an interesting connection to my old bull
vision of the plain and also us throwing the javelins
onto the plain, and my vision of Isa 35 desert. Right
now I am listening to a tape series called the Back door
to the throne room. In the tape series, it is about
various leaders who go through difficult events just
prior to their promotion. I felt these things were all
connected and the following scriptures are quickened.
“The voice of him that
crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the
LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and
hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made
straight, and the rough places plain: 5 And the glory of
the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it
together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.”
(Isa 40:3-5 KJV)

WORD TO PONDER 2/15/02
THE PORTHOLE DOOR TO THE THRONE
Many years ago you gave
your life to Me and followed me into the dry desert of a
thirsty and flattened land. The valleys in your life
were raised and the mountains were brought low, your
crooked places were made straight and the rough places
were made flat. There you prepared a place for Me. And
there you sang to Me and gave me your all. There you
pursued until you lay still before My feet, spent in
your exhaustion of pursuit. Oh My love, how you have
touched My heart.
And now I have kissed you
with My Presence and brought hope to life once again. I
will raise you up. I will place you before the door, the
porthole to heaven’s throne. This is a special door, for
when you walk through it, it shall fulfill your every
heart’s desire. I AM your door.
"But then I will win her
back once again. I will lead her out into the desert and
speak tenderly to her there. 15 I will return her
vineyards to her and transform the Valley of Trouble
into a gateway of hope. She will give herself to me
there, as she did long ago when she was young, when I
freed her from her captivity in Egypt. "In that coming
day," says the LORD, "you will call me `my husband'
instead of `my master.' 17 O Israel, I will cause you to
forget your images of Baal; even their names will no
longer be spoken. 18 At that time I will make a covenant
with all the wild animals and the birds and the animals
that scurry along the ground so that they will not harm
you. I will remove all weapons of war from the land, all
swords and bows, so you can live unafraid in peace and
safety. 19 I will make you my wife forever, showing you
righteousness and justice, unfailing love and
compassion. 20 I will be faithful to you and make you
mine, and you will finally know me as LORD. (Hos 2:14-20

RHEMA 7/06/10 THE
PORTHOLE OF MY HEART BEAT
HEARD: Shaft of light.
HEARD: I heard a heart
beating.
HEARD: What is it? It's a
porthole. I am standing at the door.
VISION: I saw some
electrical charges in the porthole and then I saw some
fireworks in the sky.
John 13:23-25 NKJV
Now there was leaning on
Jesus' bosom one of His disciples, whom Jesus loved.
WORD TO PONDER: THE
PORTHOLE OF MY HEART BEAT 7/06/10
Wanting continual access,
you seek to hear and see and understand what I AM doing.
Precious, I know how you strive to walk through the
threshold of heaven's door, but always remember John, My
beloved. He simply laid his head upon My bosom as he
supped. He loved My heartbeat. He loved being close to
Me. Learn from him, for in the intimacy of simply
drawing close to Me, I will open the porthole for you.
As you draw close, My Light comes and charges you with
My power and strength. As you draw close, My promised
liberty sets your soul free.
Gal 5:1-2 NKJV
Stand fast therefore in
the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not
be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
