QUICKENED STORY: UNDER THE SPOUT
HEARD (on the way to church): Position
yourselves.
QUICKENED MEMORY: The story about the coffee
beans.
RHEMA 1/21/96 QUICKENED STORY: UNDER THE SPOUT
Today I read a friend's dream where she saw me as a
public speaker. I said to myself, “Gee I sure hope it’s
not literal!" I was shy and the idea to stretch outside
of writing was too much.
I was busy thinking how I’m not a public speaker and
going on and on about it in my thoughts. Then tonight
with anointed hands I turned to a story in a devotional
entitled "Open thy mouth wide and I will fill it." It
was about a coffee machine that wouldn’t grind the last
3 or 4 beans out of the machine, so she could pour her
own in and grind. No matter what, she couldn’t get it to
work.
When the clerk came to help her, he tried the same
things, and then finally put a bag under the spout. The
machine had an electric eye and wouldn’t grind beans
unless a bag was under the spout! The point of the
parable is that the Lord doesn’t fill your mouth until
you are under His spout to pour His Word out.
PS: Lord, I'm not sure I like this parable!
Ex 4:11-12 NKJV
So the LORD said to him, "Who has made man's mouth? Or
who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind?
Have not I, the LORD? Now therefore, go, and I will be
with your mouth and teach you what you shall say."
CONFIRMATION: One of the intercessors in
pre-prayer saw a moving porthole and it was going to
different fields around us. We would follow it wherever
it was going.
QUICKENED MEMORY: As he was sharing that, I was
again reminded of the (above) quickened story I was
thinking about on the way to church. The coffee bean
machine at the store would not grind the beans unless
the bag was in the right position directly under the
spout. The machine had an electric eye and it would not
work unless the bag was in position. I had been
thinking about if we are not hearing the Lord or
something has changed, we need to run to where we know
His Presence is. We position ourselves right directly
under His glory spout and in the apple of His eye.

WORD TO PONDER: NO LONGER CHURCH AS USUAL 8/2/02
I am calling you to move out of your comfort zone. If
you had your way, you would build a place of refuge, a
sanctuary of comfort, rest, and a place for My holy
Presence. But the hour is late and I am bursting forth
from the walls of sanctuaries and moving My people into
a new place. Those who have found comfort and joy and
power in My Presence will follow My cloud outside the
walls of their past. They will no longer have church as
usual. They will have so loved My Presence that all
restrictions will have been broken off from their
restraints and they will know that I AM much bigger than
the sanctuaries of yesteryears. The church walls are
coming down, where My people are going out and the
people of the world are coming in. Ready or not, I AM
coming to move My people forward.
"But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold,
heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain You, how
much less this house which I have built!” (1 Kings 8:27
NAU)
Ex 33:14-16 NKJV
And He said, "My Presence will go with you, and I
will give you rest." Then he said to Him, "If Your
Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from
here. For how then will it be known that Your people and
I have found grace in Your sight, except You go with us?
So we shall be separate, Your people and I, from all the
people who are upon the face of the earth."

========
On the way to church I
heard the Lord say, Position Yourselves. As I was
thinking about His Word, “Position yourselves” He gave
me a Word picture in my mind of surfers. When they know
a wave is coming, they paddle like mad to position
themselves just right so they wont get slam-dunked by
the wave when it breaks. They ride the crest just
briefly and then surf down in front of it, allowing the
momentum of the wave to propel them forward in front of
the breaker. The perfect ride is to stay in this place,
just in front of the breaker as it is coming in to
shore.
If instead they ride the top when the wave turns over
and breaks, it pummels them underneath the white surf
and they are pushed downwards. It can be a time of
turning upside down, and losing their bearings in a real
sifted place. If the wave is really powerful, they have
to hold their breath and wait for the white breaker to
fall before they start to pull themselves up through the
water. When they finally rise, they come up desperate
and gasping for air.
Spiritually speaking, there is a time when the Lord’s
Presence comes to propel us forward. If we are following
Him closely and prepared for His approach, we are
seeking Him, praying in tongues and looking to Him with
expectation as we see the time draw closer. We have
already been washed and in readiness. If however we fall
asleep and are not prepared, the same wave can overpower
our flesh and take us for a thorough washing of our
soul, while we are plummeted by the white water. All we
can do is call out for His deliverance as we hold our
breath and wait for Him. Sifting, instability and
desperation occurs as we come up gasping for help.
PRAYER: Lord we are now at a true junction in history,
with the completion of a cycle and the beginning of a
brand new destiny to find and fulfill. We ask that You
will position us exactly where Your Presence will propel
us into the right place. We ask that we will have
learned our lessons well and never return to old habits
that do not glorify You. We ask that this time we will
not be sifted, but instead graduate right in Your glory
as we are carried on the wings of Your wave. in Jesus
Name.
1 Chron 14:11 NLT
So David and his troops went to Baal-perazim and
defeated the Philistines there. "God has done it!" David
exclaimed. "He used me to burst through my enemies like
a raging flood!"
