5/01/18 FROM A VESSEL OF
HUMILIATION TO A VESSEL OF HONOR
HEARD:
Humiliate me. Is that what you want? I just closed the
door Lord. Closure. Bring to an end. A finality. What is
the redeeming factor? The goodness of God. Coming down the
pipeline new beginnings. Ready or not here we come. Just
imagine My goodness and all that I have instore.
2 Timothy 2:19-21 Nevertheless the foundation of God
stands sure, having this seal, The Lord knows them that are
his. And, Let every one that names the name of Christ depart
from iniquity. 20 But in a great house there are not only
vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of
earth; and some to honor,
and some to dishonor. 21 If a man therefore purge himself
from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and
fit for the master's use, and prepared unto every
good work.
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for
good to them that love God, to them who are the called
according to his purpose.
WORD TO PONDER: CLOSING THE DOOR TO HUMILIATED PAST
5/01/18
I create vessels of honor and vessels of dishonor. Dear
one, if you have found yourself walking in a place where
you had to bow so low there was little room to move, you
learned how to walk in great humility. Making yourself as
small as possible and being faithful to serve Me there was a
true mark of honor in the realm of the spirit. You also
learned obedience in that place as you waited upon Me to
deliver you into promotion. You learned that flesh profits
nothing, only My Spirit can bring lasting results. You
learned the power of personal decrease so that I may
increase.
My Word promises that if you PURGE yourself from unrighteous
character and actions – departing from iniquity, you will
become a vessel of honor. You will be sanctified and
profitable for My use. I will make you ready for doing a
good work in the earth. It is My goodness that uses all you
have gone through dear one and turns it for My glory and
good purpose.
2 Timothy 2:19-21 Nevertheless the foundation of God
stands sure, having this seal, The Lord knows them that are
his. And, Let every one that names the name of Christ depart
from iniquity. 20 But in a great house there are not only
vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of
earth; and some to honor, and some to dishonor. 21 If a man
therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel
unto honor, sanctified, and fit for the master's use, and
prepared unto every good work.
